Mate of mine is selling a Blitz turbo timer which is from his 200sx. Questions are how much do you rekon its worth and how to I get the correct harness for the 300zx

Hi There - nice board - must join the club now I've bought one !! **remind me 'cos I'll forget** Anyone taken on board an "unknown" car (like I just have) and decided to **overhaul** using some sort of priority schedule? I have no history for it and it drives well, straight and starts/runs/brakes without any fuss. Fuel lines I think are going to be a problem - switching on the aircon when engines cold first thing creates a bit of a stink in the cabin... I'm going to sort out the fuel lines first so it doesn't become an expensive firework, but then where to next? 1st reg from Japan with 96000 km - so I guess the 60K service wasn't done...should I go the w…

a few of me mates have oil catch cans on their motors. one has it on his supra and another on his gti-r. Whats the deal with fittin one on a zed , is it possible , is it worth it??????? cos they recon it certainly is so at least u wont have that oil inside the intercoolers, but have no idea if they right or not.

This may be of some help those who have a hesitation at around 2k rpm or when backed off or very light on the throttle. I have had this problem for a few months now and have finally found the cause after much changing of parts ie ptu, tps , lamba probes, water temp, injector connectors and spark plugs all of which made no differance to the hesitation. What i have found is that the dam hard to get at EGR valve is to blame ( my only problem now is how to completly disable the dam thing while the engine is still in the car) I have temporaly removed the vac line to it and blocked the soliniod outlet, then taken a syringe and pressurised the valve to complety close it then tra…

what do most people use for a spare if they have 18" alloys?? obviously the space saver is sized as a spare for standard 16" or is it ok to use as the tyres are smaller on the 18" so it ends up with the same diameter as the 16's???

I hate to ask such vague questions...but is it possible to predict a ball park power increase/money ratio when tuning a TT ZX? If you were to spend, say £1k, what kind of power would you be looking at? Likewise with £2k? I'm just curious, as it would be some time before I can even afford a Zed...let alone to tune one up :D

can anyone help please? not long had my 92 300zx tt and when i leave it in the garage for a few days the battery goes flat. i have put a metre accross the live side and found a 1 amp drain with nothing switched on. the only thing i can add is when i remove the looped fuse in fused link box the leak disappears.

Toying with the idea of a home respray. I am going to primer the bodykit over the next week or so. If it goes well I am going to chance spraying in colour. I could always ask a bodyshop to continue or rectify :o if it turns out messy. Anyway question is How much paint to buy for Car, Full kit and Mid level spoiler... Am I right in thinking 2-3 liters? Hi , I am thinking of buying another Z32 , I miss the old feeling of sitting in the car and looking in the rear mirror and seeing jaws drooping :-) I have seen a lovely Z but i've been told it need a new heater Matrix (Which he has got but needs to be fitted) ? I know nothing about these any ideas of cost for fitting them has i guess its a pretty big job ? Any advice ? CHEERS DARREN

i need some help can someone tell me what this black plastic box is for? its got a pipe going into it at the botom from the engine bay and theres a hole at the top that goes nowhere. can i remove this???? what does it do. its on the pasanger side behind the wing.

Could somebody please tell me if there are any other cars that have the same wheel fitment as the z as i need to find something like an old set of steels or just some cheap munched alloys to put on my broken z when they take it away coz theres no way im lettin the alloys go! Well, I've had my Z for about a week now and overall am very happy with it. It's got a few squeaks and I'm trying to work out whether these are from the suspension or not because they do twist my melon a bit: they make the car sound a bit old and rickety. Of slightly more concern is the turbo noise I'm getting. When driving I'm getting a distinct hiss / whistle from the RHS as the boost builds up. It's not that loud at all but it is noticeable above engine and road noise. I'd probably not be too worried if it were the same noise from both sides because I've, perhaps naively, assumed that the turbos are mounted one on each side of the engine bay, however the noise…
