Sorry if this is a stupid question. Should I be putting a pas pump from a car that dosnt have hicas? Or can I keep my current pump? Thanks, Dan

After a bit of help really. So started the car today and took it for a spin. It's been sat for about 3 or 4 few weeks. The only thing I've done was put a new battery on it yesterday. Car drove okay, got. Back and noticed the idle seemed a bit high at around 1200 rpm. So got the computer on and the AAc was at 17% so decided to try and get it at 15%. This didnt seem to work. I then noticed the TPS was at .42v. So I've changed this to .44v so I know that's right. My problem is, now the AAC seems to have gone up to like 70% and doesn't want to change. The timing also seemed to be in the 30's and jumping around, checked it with a timing light and it lo…

hi guys i went to fit my n/a p/s pump the other day just to find out that t/t have a diffrent mount. ive got the top mount in hand. but i was wondreing if the lower bracket is the same on t/t and n/a. thanks guys.

Hi Under the bonnet I have some red pipes running across the front of the engine which have started to crack and break, cant figure out what they are for any one know?

Hi I've had my 300 tt for about 16 months it's has always had what I can only describe as a hot metal smell only when on boost she runs fine but starting to wonder if this is normal any advice welcome. Steve

More and more it seems to be people can't differentuate facts with opinions, equally the venom of what some make their "facts" is disgusting. This is by no means the worst but I stumbled across this and ended up reading it as you do, I came away thinking this is why I don't like a lot of people. Hi, Cars been running fine until I gave it a drive today, I noticed that the heater wasn't as hot as it should be, car was at normal operating temp according to the dial and the fan would come on and off as normal .but when I parked up with engine off I had a look under the bonnet and saw that the radiator cap was hissing and steam coming from it. Anyone know what this could be? ive spent so much on her the last year im worried that it might be head gasket? ;(

Not too sure if this is a common problem. I haven't been using the car much lately but while its been very cold, I've noticed the inside of the front windscreen getting water/condensation/ice on it. What I want to know is whether its just the it is or if there's anything I should check. For example if the window might not be sealed properly or if there's something else that could be causing it

Hello alll, Santa`s clearly been a naughty boy and the spirit of christmas zeds has decided to take away his power steering. It`s been displaying symptoms for awhile, mainly being a little stiff first thing (steady now) but being ok when warmer. The hicas light came on the other night along with a drop in assistance. I did the usual and checked the levels. Seems ok but my float is worn and it`s always a guess. So i used a probe and measured this against the guage. All good. Still the same result so It`s not that. Hello can anyone please help I have an aftermarket steering wheel fitted to my 300zx Z32 1996 with Hicas I want to fit a snap off steering boss but need to change the large aftermarket boss on the car to a short boss does anyone know where I can buy a short boss compatible with Hicas system Thanks Richard

Hi guys looking for some ideas on a recent problem. When the engine is running it smells quite bad of petrol fumes and seems to be blowing cold air from the nearside of the front of the engine around the cas area. I haven't noticed any lack of power and seems to run ok. If any of you guys could help with some ideas of what it could be I would most appreciate your input. Cheers Mark

hi guys i want to fit some of these. but dont know which ones to go for. ie the one that fit where the reserc valves are atm or wether to fit them in the turbo hard pipes iam long at a set of jdmprf. blow off valves that look like they fit in the stock position. they are asking £100 for the pair. what do you guys think. any input would be greatlly appricated.
