Morning all, I am going to re install my knock sensor and remove the resistor bypass, now the question is , as I do not want to pull the upper and lower Plenum so access the stock location , where else can it be mounted for best effect, Or alternatively if the standard knock sensor is poor, can I mount a better sensor that will still talk to my ECU and access knock maps if for example my MAF suddenly fails ?, Im thinking of a similar sensor to that which is used during Dyno Mapping sessions. Thanks Sayers

Does anyone have a picture of the centre console without the centre panel fitted? I want to see the 'hole' and the edges where the centre panel fits into place. Unfortunately I'm not at home at the moment and need it fairly quickly. Thanks in advance!

Seeing Pete put his seats up for sale has reminded me I want some lighter seats for my slicktop. ( unfortunately petes too far from me so his are out) It's power modifications have started, and apart from some tidying the outside is being left alone, interior is staying in. I'm looking for something that doesn't look out of place, so any recommendations and pictures would be helpful, I like the bride seats, but intrested to hear suggestions. This is the car...

Did anyone see Wheeler dealers last week with TR6 ? Ed put some waterless coolant into it Didn't know that existed 'til then Has anybody any experience of it because apparently it's good up to about 180 degrees and as low as -40 so you don't need antifreeze either If it's as good as it sounds can you use it in a ZED ?

It's -2°, it's snowing, and it's a Sunday. Yet me and Si (Mondo) are about to set off to Newcastle to start stripping parts off a Zed in an unheated lockup. Must be mad. Utterly mad.

Can someone confirm for me which wires I need to run to a VGs EFI and Alternator loom to make it run? So, forget that the car and it's looms exist. The engine needs to run as though it's not even mounted in the car. I "Think" I need the 12v main live from battery to starter loom. ECU live. ECU Ground maybe? And then I need a live to make the starter crank. That will fire up the engine and it will run. is that right?

hey all, whilst on the lookout for the right TT zed I have been dreaming up the perfect modifications, and was wondering weather or not their good or not worth it so here goes: full 350z brembo discs and calipers (custom made mounting brackets) stock turbo internals uprated (billet or whatevers out there) 15psi boost jets from z1 ( http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=3082) HKS BOV's with recirc (removal of stock recirc) EGR Delete are any of these a good idea for my next potential victim or not? obviously the exhaust and air intake will be changed (Longlife and JWT) Thanks all, Jamie

Just getting together a list of parts for the engine swap next month (finally!!!) and am upgrading to new style injectors. I was wondering if these are basically the options I have to get them to fit?- 1) Fit 300 degree rails, machine the upper plenum for one of the injectors to clear 2) Replace fuel rails with late spec, machine lower plenum to fit new style rails 3) Replace lower plenum (and upper if they aren't interchangeable??) and fuel rails, with new style of each Also, what would the following kit achieve? https://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=7731 Cheers guys

What are peoples' thoughts on this new Terraclean system that is being used all over the country? Do we think it could be worthwhile on our VG engines? Or is it something that could damage 20-odd year old seals and components...?
