Can anyone help please? I've got the rad out and the adjustment mechanism off the front of the pump. I've also removed the pully and the bolt behind it but the pump won't budge! Is it held in with magic? It doesn't even move!! Thanks guys. NB is there a source of info on PAS system on the Z? I've searched threads back as far as 2003 and everytime someone asks about PAS system everything seems to go quiet!

The fan is always on on my car guys, I take it that this isn't normal? Is there just a switch somewhere that's probably gone? Cheers.

Anyone know how this is done? Seemed not very straightforward and i cant find any posts? I saw the motor screws is it that simple?

Hi guy's. My Zed has been suffering recently with not so much as a missfire but it's like the engine is constantly being throttled off and back on when i'm on a constant throttle. I've replaced the injector, coil pack and water temp sensor connectors, tried a working maf, set the tps and still it does it. A few days ago we cleaned up the AAC? connector. it's the yellow one at the rear of the passenger side plenum. After this it was ok for the 10 or so mile blast we did in her but the day after it was back to the same? It's a UK car so it couldn't be too much of a bad batch of BP Ultimate fuel to cause this. Cant hear any det. Just pops and bangs. If I hold the clutch…

ok folks, i hope someone can shed a bit of light on this for me, i came off a roundabout with a gtir (sunny) on my rear bumper, so as i oppend the throtle in second, all was well starting to pull away, then i hit 6000rpm and had total loss of power, sunny pulls back up, into third, same again 6000rpm total loss of power, this happend in every gear :headvswal . i have a few mods done, ecu chiped, full s/s exhaust, hks air intake, a super afr, and boost jets. also i'm only getting 9psi. please help!!!

i have just got the other set of alloys for my fairlady. The last owner kept his word and dropped them off to me. They seem to be in very good condition, i just have to clean them up, im just wondering what they are worth as they are of no use to me, due to the car having a brand new set of alloys and tyres when i got it. if they are of interest to anyone here let me know. im going to be buying some stuff from smithy shortly so i would like to sell these to pay for more goodies!!

need some advice please. my front wipers.. when set on internittent it will work the nstop for about 10 sec or so then move then stop again, etc... however on the normal sweep lft/rht it works fine and doesnt stop. is this a relay problem or do i need to change the motor/s? hopefully if i have to change i can get them from one of the traders here, new or recon, prefer new thanks as usual. si

Im looking at the following and getting confused. http://www.300zx-twinturbo.com/tech/blitz/blitz.htm Am i right in assuming you take the hose your boost jets goes into, split it and conect to the 2 fittings on the solinoid (linkind the R and L hoses up first) ? Is it that simple or am i just that simple? I know setting it up is gonna be fun but it seems straight forward.

just wondering if this was ok or not - since the bodywork went on i dont have any sills to jack on and the car is too low at most points for a trolley jack to go under the most convenient point would be to put a trolley jack under the rear diff. anyone know?? Regards, alex

Hi guys, this morning I was in saftey boost, did ECU check and got Code 53. Found this on a search :- (the list from TT's of dallas has got code 53 as the right side O2 sensor.) Anyone know where this is located so I can check wiring ect. ? Any suggestions Cheers Paul

Hello ppl I need your help please if possible . First problem Just brought me self a 300 jap spec I beleive 300zx TT Auto 1990 . Didnt notice this at first until I stuck me foot down And found out I was seeing 100mph very quickly . Howevere 100mph is all I have on the speedo in mph , What are your suggestions please and what have I got to buy to solve the issue are Uk clocks needed and who has them ?? 2nd problem I dont know if this is related to any of the above but I do know the car is chipped and has had a boost mod fitted along with twin bailey dump valves. whilst the car is in drive mode with or withough overdrive on it doesnt seem to want to change u…

ok ive increased the power on my Z zorst, induction, SGP UD Pulley, ECU & boost controller setup for 1 bar and I can feel my clutch starting to slip when using the power. So any advice on which clutch kit to go for? I intend to fit a decat kit at some point and i dont think my stock one will take anymore. Cheers Pete

Hi All Tested The Intake System For Leaks Today And Discovered Air Coming From The Dipstick Hole. I've Checked The Pcv Valves (which Are New) And The Seem To Be Working Ok. What Else Could Be Pressurising The Crankcase?

:confused: Hi Chaps, I've heard a lot of banter regarding de-cat pipes and was wondering if they were a good idea or not. Yes it would be nice to have a little more horse power and let the engine breath a little better but is it gonna put to much strain on my standard turbos? Is this common at all, jsut noticed carpet a tiny bit wet and went I jacked it up and looked there is a little rust at the bracket for the seat, easy to fix, just wondering if anyone else has seen this?

I have just, for the first time noticed a Ding Dong sound (like if the lights are on with the door open) when driving along? Now, I have never noticed it before but I think it happens when I reach 65 MPH? so is it a speed warning on Jap import cars? If so can it be disabled? Thanks :bow: Vince
