gonna buy a rear panel for my zed from lukes zed center this week.. ZC007A Perspex Cover Lens W/O or with Brake Light just a quick couple of q's.. how does it attatch to the rear, and will it need trimming or modifying? also does the panel with the brake light have a compatible connection so it connects straight to my old connector? simple questions i know but i want to be comfy buying something i havent seen.. either way im getting it just need to be ready ;)

Hope everyones doing good. My ignition coil has burnt out 3 times. My mechanic said it mus be one of the wires shortcircuiting. Now these wires, they all run from the ECU dont they? Am i in big sh1t, enlighten me please :)

Hi All, After reading advice on the forum I've been using only Optimax on my zed since I got it. It seems to work fine and has cured the fuel smell that I used to get, (I assume). I've noticed that Tesco is now selling Super unleaded with 99 octane. Should I swap? Would it make a difference in performance / MPG?

does anybody have the dimentions of a n/a engine im thinging of throwing the jap engine away and putting in a 7,500cc chevrolet unit in! has anybody done this yet ???

I have a leak from a short black hose 1cm wide on the drivers side of the engine on the side of the block situated under the Brake servo almost. Its about 5" long - just secured with spring clips - bugger to get to... Any ideas what this pipe is/does guys? AndyGP :nana2:

My battery has died and not holding a charge hardly suprising cosidering its the orignal japanese one, i cannot read any of the info on the battery saying about amp hour etc. I will be needing a decent one because i will be powering a 1000 watt amp. Ive Tried To Put Mph Dial Into My Speedo Today With Resistor Change On R10 To 20k Ohm Now The Damn Thing Doesnt Work What The Feck Have I Done .... The Needle Seems To Stick But When You Pull The Needle A Bit It Will Move Again I Pulled The Needle Off While Holding The Pin With Thin Nosed Pliers So The Pin Didnt Come Out But There Seems To Be A Little Play In It Help!!!!!!!11

Hey peeps new on here but my dad just brought a 300zx non-turbo :D a few weeks back for 2k and the car seems to be in good con and passed the mot with flying colours. Hi Guys Ive recently put a few posts on hear regarding my eratic idle which still isnt sorted? Since cleaning out the throttle boddies its slightlybetter, but not perfect. Sometimes the car idles just right, however, if it is left to idle for a long time (engine upto norm temp) then the revs start to go up and down? Ive tried everything I can (and you) can think of, but still no joy! Anyway, the latest thing I have noticed is that occasionally, when idling oily smoke (smallish amounts) come from he exhaust. Got my stock car dyno'd today. Not enthralled with the result- only 192 bhp at the wheels, but 241 lb/ft torque. If someone could cast their expert eye over the numbers I'd appreciate it- I just really want to know if they stack up and for some reason my engine just isn't that powerful, or whether the run itself looks dubious. Can any one tell me if im spose to get full boost in every gear on a autoTT , my boost only goes to around .9 psi when its in last gear on overdrive mode , just wondering if this is normal , also I have got a bad hesitation at 3 k , it alows me to pull through it if i give it a bit more but it feels as though i have a plug down or coil pack as it coughs and splutters abit before accelerating again , any clues , i did find the pipe of to the left hand side inlet (small tube under boost tube ) just wondered if running like this for a week has caused the plugs to become shit up . A mate of mine has just replaced both tubs on his zed and is getting white smoke from exhaust. We have compare his car agains mine to make sure all the pipes are on correctly and no problem there. I have done a ECU check and code 55 so no problem there. When car is started there is no smoke, when I checked his exhaust there seems to be a lot more pressure coming from the driver side than the passenger, the passenger side is slightly smoking. When car heats up white smoke starts too poor out of passenger side, and when reved from both sides, it totally swamps the street. We are really at a loss as to what's causing this and any help would be appreciated.
