Hi All, Well my stereo bizarrely died early on (couple of hours ago) so I thought I'd check the obvious stuff first (fuses). However... neither of the fuseboxes by the front wings appear to contain the relevant fuse. But apparently there's another fusebox somewhere around the drivers footwell. Question is how on earth do I get to it? Thanks, Bart

Pulled away from a junction this afternoon, and suddenly had no power in the autobox! Plenty of revs, but nothing at all in any position in the box! Engine was warm (up to temp), as I'd used it not all that long before this journey, there is plenty of oil in the box, and everything else works normally. It has the Jap oil cooler still fitted. Now for the strange bit, after the two or so hours to get home (on the back of a truck) I struck her up and I was able to move her!!!! Any help greatfully appreciated. Thanks very much.

LOL - a mate of mine told me about a grey Zed ("Just like yours") which he saw reverse out of a driveway in Three Bridges (near Crawley) and knock a kid off his push bike :slap: Think it happened this week and the kid was fine  Anyone going to own up to this one ;) Steve :)

Hi We all get told to take it easy with a new engine etc, for so many thousand miles right? What're people's opinions on this method? :wack: http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm ie giving it a little stick to bed the rings in better. I hear it's a pretty well established technique. It's a fair read but v interesting. Cheers Pete

Hi guys, I have a prop shaft rattle that I want to get sorted. I am currently in negotiations to get a good second hand one, but I have a couple of questions. Is there any difference between NA and TT shafts? and any difference between manual and autos? Also do I need to get specific bearings? I have an NA Auto, if that helps anybody answer these questions. Thanks, Mike...

Managed to get my Apexi AVC-R Boost controller wired in by MrP  I just need help with the plumbing, the pressure sensor is straight forward enough, it the solinoid valve I need help with. Am I righ in saying that I get a length of hose run it from 1 acuator into a T piece, then another length from the other actuator to the other end of the T piece. With the remaining spigot on the T piece going to the (com) spigot on the solenoid valve? where do I conect the hose that comes from the (No) spigot on the solenoid valve? cheers john D

I just bought the car, a guy owed my dad the some money and the car just there, the guy hadn't used it in a year, so you can imagine how it was. I took it to a mecanic in Tijuana, Mexico (because it's cheaper, than anywhere in California). They changed the fuel injecters, the gas pump and lines, the brakes, the filters, the oil, etc. And now I don't know where to start. I've never been a real car fanatic, do you have any advice? Thanks, Mario

Ok fella's, the first to say sell the Zed get's it, :mac1: It failed the mot last week on rear roll bar drop link's, and the hicas rack track arm's, thats it, well chuffed. All done an dusted. Having recently splitt from the missus though has left me running the house alone, which most of you will know aint cheap when there is two of ya, my Zed is my everyday car now, and the fuel consumption is killing me to an from work alone without any use over the weekend. So here's my question...........Gas conversion????? need i say anymore i wonder? Can I? how would it run? and more importantly, what will it perform like?? Can you run a turbo'ed car on gas?? Any idea's?? cheers …

Hi all, I knocked my drivers window when getting out of the car the other night and the B pillar runner/retainer broke in two - part left in runner, other remains on the glass. Does anyone know if this runner can be replaced or is a whole new window required? Couldn't see a mention of it in the manual.. If a new window is the only solution, does anyone know of one going in the Bristol area? Cheers Dave (who left it until it was thundering to break the window!!) :headvswal

The rear shocks on the Z have been on the verge of MOT failure for the last year - the rear end feels like its skipping out every time i go over a bump, one wheel is an inch lower than the other etc etc.... So just got a set of Koni Sport shocks, which should be here in a day or two hopefully. Anyway, while the car is in the air with its suspenders down, should I be thinking about a new all-round bushing kit? I see Energy suspension do a kit: http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/nis1.html - anyone had experience of this? Any help and/or experience with overhauling the suspension would be great. Cheers Simon. (p.s. Got a set of Blitz springs to go…

Firstly- I promise this is the last help I ask for before subscribing Second- I know sill rust is common, but has anyone had to go all the way back to the rear subframe mounts? Ive seen replacement outer panels and inner reinforcement panels but my rust is touching the panel that is behind the reinforcement panel, it is also touching the rear subframe mount. Even though the mount hasn't rusted through Im not happy about its structural integrity and Im thinking that the mount needs to be replaced. Has anyone had their rust go this far back and what did they do aboot it? Right now the only thing I can think of is to chop the whole side and underside out of a breaking…
