1. On my Z in the passenger footwell their is 2 plasic round clips which i presume used to hold something?? Was it a fire extinguisher?? Has anybody else got them??

Guys, Im having a new clutch fitted soon but at the mo the existing one squeaks everytime i hit the pedal. Do you think i need to get a replacement clutch cable as well as the clutch i bought didnt come with one (not sure whether they should do?), is it recommended to change the cable when putting in a new clutch? If so you know how much they are new? Dan.

Guys, I have been recommended the Dot 5.1 Motul fluid when i have my braided lines done, does anyone know where i can get this stuff from, can only find places in US but they wont ship as its flammable?? Also how much you need, is it 3 cans? Dan.

My mates 300zxtt has a problem, when hes driving and say approaching a roundabout his power streeing gets hard, he says he wiggles it abit then its fine again till it happens again any ideas? thanks.

ok, had a really soft clutch pedal this morning - about inch and a half play before i found the bite. by the end of the journey it was starting to slip. :cry: is it worth doing a clutch replacement myself? ive tried to do everything myself so far, but not sure where to start - how long 'should' it take, and what else is it worth replacing at the same time? new flywheel? any other supporting mods? will i need specialist tool for any of it? looking at getting an rps kit (knew you'd get me in the end smithy!)- might as well upgrade! :) cheers fellas! :duffer:

I have been told that the R12 replacement that this company I am questioning is ISCEON 49. All I can find on the internet is that this is R413a that can/does replace R134a, does this sound bout right to you guys ? Also, is there any way to do a DIY leak test ? Cheers Paul

HelP! Last night car was fine - this morning as the car warmed up (on motorway) car suddenly filled with steam and water was pouring on to my left foot throught the plastic air ducting!! Does this point to the heater matrix? There was no visible leak/steam/water onder bonnet! Front and rear heater hoses were recently replaced. AndyGP :cry:

ok guys aany help will be much appreciated on this : I went out this evening for my normal sunday cruise, all was going well until I pulled off from a set of lights there was a vibration type feeling (had the tunes up so didnt hear any noise)which i put down to a little tyre slip as i was a bit enthusiastic off the lights then this noise which sounded like a metallicy exhaust blowy/raspy kind of noise(technical term there) but also maybe a rotating sort of rubbing. As I accelerated the noise got quicker, slowed down it got slower - no noticeable lack of power just the noise getting louder. Stopped under a street light revved the engine in park no noise jus…

just reading this faq on the "boost jets" in the faq section if you put these restrictors in the line for the pressure to build up higher would this not cause more turbo lag? also are the 300zx turbos sequential or not? thanks

Opinions please on the attached screen shot of an e-mail I received, everything tells me this is dodgy, I do not know the author or the purchase it refers too, also the sender has a link to follow, rather than fall for this I right clicked to looked in properties but you cannot, I used some of the link address to check the ISP and it did not work, anyone heard of this possible scam? is there any way how to trace the author as I am getting really peed by the amount of scammers out there! I am only a few days away from becomming a Z owner and am wondering what to do to it. The exhaust is the first step. But the question remains what system? I have been reading a lot about the HKS Super Drager and it looks interesting. The blurb says that it eliminates a lot of the bends in order to increase power. Does this mean that it hangs lower than usual and would this make it louder? I want it as loud as possible to annoy my neighbours as much as possible. I don't mind loosing the twin look if I get the best system. I would also like the biggest tip you can get. Does anyone have any experience with these or have them fitted? Thanks guys.

I have been running 1.0mm boost jets in my car now for just over 2 months and the psi has been holding at 11psi . Today i decided to put 0.8mm boost jets in to raise the boost a little bit more but nothing over 15psi of course, anyway after 1 hour of fitting the jets i ran her down the d road and for some reason with the 0.8mm jets i only get 10psi . Shouldnt the boost rise when fitting smaller jets or is there a standard boost controller somewhere not allowing me to go any higher than 10 psi ???

as above really need to test to see if me kenlow fan is working, dont want to make car overheat to find out its not, have spun the fan with hand , its fairly stiff but moves, , reason im asking is its out of car as cleaned loads of leaves from behind it,

Hi. Can anyone tell me what parts I should replace on a full service of twin turbo car. No history with the car, so want to change all belts and fluids, plugs etc. Change water pump? Which are best spark plugs? Want to get all the parts together so car is off the road less time. Thanks in advance.
