Hiya! ive been looking to own a 300zx for so long! have seen a really nice one for sale near london, just had cambelt changed for 60k service and looks really tidy and dealer says last owner was an older gentleman (bound to i suppose) looks really nice though, is a 90 h plate and is looking for 4k for it. my worry is that its 15 yr old! want to go for it, am looking through all guides on site (loving it) what does anyone think>? cheers! phil

Is it 'essential' or just 'recommended' to replaced all the other parts (i.e. water pump, seals, belts, etc. etc.) rather than just the cam belt ? Comments please Cheers Paul

Hello, I want to change my exhaust by one I will do myself. But my question is do I need to keep that H (or X) pipe ? or can I do two line with no communication ? What is the H pipe for? Thanks a lot

:headvswal Hi all I need some help desperately. I have a major problem: I recently had my auto box sorted by VMTP but since the 1 month service the 10A ASCD fuse in the drivers footwell keeps blowing. When this occurs I only have emergency mode gears 1, 2 and D (as 3rd gear) and have to go through the sequence to change gear. I took out the ASCD cancel relay (under the bonnet just down from the battery) and it then seemed to work fine for a few months and I had the full range of gears in D. Unfortunately the fuse blew again last week even with the ASCD Cancel relay removed. It keep blowing with, or without, the relay replaced. The Auto Transmission Diagnostics suggests …

Are these only fitted to N/A's or TT's as well? Ta! ;)

Red Zed near devonport naval base traffic lights in Plymouth. Nearly crashed while waving as its the first I've seen here!!

Took 300zx for a test drive today and wondered what the power A/T hold switch actually did. Plus when the car was not in power mode i put my foot down and the POWER light came on on the dash board. It was raining at the time. Is this normal?? I found it strange that the engine doesn't turn off emediately :confused: is there a button to push to over ride the turbo timer?? Any help welcome,thanks

im looking for a replacement cone filter for my jap zx swb, the one under the center panel between the lights. just wondering if there is a stck k&n filter that will do the job or will i need an apex or blitz filter? the stock one is stinking now and need replacing tomorrow. i can get a k&n filter tomorrw or something from motorworld. if not i will buy from one of the traders. thanks guys.

well i finaly finished puttin my rebuilt engine in last nyt! was running brill untill it cut out and now its missin on No.1 so i did a ecu check and it came bk with air flow meter and ignition system! so im thinkin that it could be my PTU. as its 15 years old! :( any other idead plz would be much apriceated!

Been looking at their stock lists for some months now and they seem to get a decent throughput of Zs. Some seem a little cheap, but you do have to add shipping costs and such like as they are only agents. Just wondering if anyone has ever used them in the past and if they offer a good service and decent vehicles. http://www.amplified-performance.com if no one's used them before...but I guess most of you have heard of them.
