Chaps, When extra dials are put in the spare radio slot how easy is it to ensure they are backlit at about the same intensity as the stock guages behind the wheel?? Can you adjust the brightness or do you have to trawkl through different guages to make sure one set isnt vastly brighter than the standard display ? many thanks

I was thinking of a boost controller, maybe the latest Apexi with the multi colour display. Anyone know where I can get one, who can fit it in or around Hampshire and how much are these going for and which is the best?

I only glimpsed it over the centre barrier on the A338 travelling away from Bournemouth at about 1.20pm. I think it was a Z. I was travelling towards Bournemouth in a white Z.

Fitted my r34 Brembos today. No major headaches but it did take a lot longer than you would think mainly due to some stubborn bolts and my general ineptness (never played with brakes before!). I don't want to appear like I'm an authority on the subject or anything but I was thinking about putting these pictures up in the form of an HowTo type thing wrote out properly in the relevant section. Wondered if some of the people on here who do know what they are doing could give me their opinions on how it could have been better. The pictures show up all the brake fluid I was pi*sing everywhere trying to undo the brake line nuts! I removed the front brake lines because I …

Has anyone tried one of these? I think that it looks quite good. It would look nice with the small Supra style spoiler on the bottom left of page 2 of the spoiler section. Any thoughts? I just fancy doing something different when I finally get the Z.

Well just realised. I had my Zed de-restricted by the Zed-Centre about 18 months ago. Things were fine but i had never relised that the famous ping, ping had not gone. I have noticed this since i now can go alot faster over here in Germany and the warning ping has started. Does anyone know how to shut this up

Ok, bit of history first.. After a 60k maint, the car had a nice oil leak - actually it kinda had it before it, but it seemed to get worse after the 60k was done. It mostly came out around the join between the two upper cam covers - but everywhere else was pretty plastered in oil too, and it only seemed to come out under pressure, not when the engine was off. So, I've started stripping everything down (only 18 months after I stopped using the car, ahem).. and it's not quite what I expected. The outer (non ribbed) side of the cam belt is dry - where I expected it to be oily, the inner side is a little oily, but most of the oil seems to be pooled on the insid…

I've had a post here for a while about the problems with my zed. The problems are slowly getting worse and i've been off the road now for weeks. As the zed is my only car im buggered. I cant drive it to zcenter or ztech, one because I dont know if it will make it, and two because I dont have the time. Its a real problem now. Please, does anybody know of a mechanic in the herts/hatfield area that could help me? I really need to sort it out. Cheers if anyone can help.

Failed the MOT today on rusted sills. Anyway, i'm going to order repair panels in the next couple of days and do the job myself. Question, is it ok, as per the MOT standards, to drill holes in the bottom and wheel arch flanges and mig weld them and to but weld the rest? cheers
