General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Sometimes my N/A auto will come out of Park and sometimes it won't. The times that it won't I have to sit there and keep hitting the brake several times until it comes out of park. Any ideas? Cheers

I saw 2 red 300ZX's. Monday afternoon (M6 southbound) looked pretty stock arouns Stoke area. Driver had sunglass' on. Wednesday afternoon (Blackpool sea front) again pretty stock UK model but with a cool private number?

I have read this thread by JD and the link contained within and have found it an interesting read. I also remember someone else posting about this but cant find the link anywhere... Bassically Im fitting the Brembo upgrade and was wondering if I should pull that fuse on the ABS once fitted?? Ive noticed my current abs can start interferring on late hard braking and cause me to overrun anyway so is it going to be even worse once the skyline kit is fitted? I know what the majority will say and it will be something like "Dont be so fookin stupid"...or thereabouts :rofl: But I never have and never will like abs so should/can i get shot now and just rely on good …

Hi all, Can someone tell me how hard it would be to replace the steering rack on a 91 300ZX NA. Can I use a steering rack off a 300ZX Twin Turbo? If so does anybody have a rack for sale or one for a NA? I will have to do this work outside my house. any special tools required. Dare I ask, has anyone got any advice regarding what I'm trying to Achieve with my ebay add. hello all i have a n/a auto 300zx, when i bought it it had a speedo change so it reads in mph but for some reason it hits 120mph and wont go any faster will i need to chip it??? and if so what chip

Hi guys...can anyone direct me to where i might find dashboard dial replacements, from Km/H to Mph, for the TT 300ZX? My Jap TT Auto has still got original Km/H dials. Can anyone tell me the actual differences between Fairlady and Standard 300ZX models? When i bought the car, i was told it was Fairlady, but now the importers are telling me its a Standard 300ZX. Hi, I cant for the life of me find my washer bottle top up! My car is a 1991 jap swb TT. Ive looked at the diagrams and it show the top up bottle on the bottom left hand side of the engine as you look down on it, but mine is not there! Please help as my washer light keeps coming on...

Ok guys I've been through all the normal stuff fuses and connections checked but the ABS on the car doesn't work. The light comes on and goes out as per MOT requirements. But jump on the brakes and the wheels lock solid. Any Idea's greatly appreciated. Thanks Craig

Does anyone know the tech spec for 300zx nasp? In particular looking for 0-60, top end, MPG ect. Had a quick scan under search but couldn't find anything.

New car mats???? Dont want to give them too much stick untill they are bed in propperly. Whats the normal running in time? Heard of nasty storys of people getting mud on them too early. They are the cheepo £7.99 jobbies from Tesco.

After my car warms up, you can hear the fan in the engine bay going faster! The more I rev the louder the fan, it sounds like a loud hoover...Any ideas if this is normal with the recent hot weather?

Think this has been posted before. I'm wanting to now what set points members are runnng with the Profec B Boost Controller. I am wanting to run low at 12psi and high at 14.5psi. Don't think mines set up right. Sometimes I'm getting, what sounds like the clutch slipping when I cane it. This doesn't happen all the time. Some people and telling me it is definately the clutch and some are saying it's the boost. I know that when you incease the boost, the stock clutch can struggle. Your comments much appreciated. i am using these guys to make my set of rims, performance alloys in ireland use them, iwas told to go direct to these to save money. http://www.braid.es/ you can design your own rims steering wheels and they will cut you one offs. the cost is round about 1800 for a set of 3 piece rims at 19/9.5 rear and 19/8.5 fronts. im having my murcielago copies made there along with a matching steering wheel. you can go through performance alloys but they take a percentage. gotta wait till the end of the month as they are currently on holidays.

Wow ... was out cruising with the local boy racers.. and spotted not one but 2 zeds..... wow.... both were a silver/gray type.. and both TT. I was dead chuffed... Cottingham has 3 in total.. (if you do the maths. 2 other zeds PLUS mine equals 3).... Thats what schools is for. Anyway Didnt mean to scare you mate... on the garth.... Hope to see you around....
