General Discussions - 300ZX Related

I've tryied to fix mine yesterday but I don't have any notice with it!!! I've 3 wire on my gauge: - 1 Green - 1 White - 1 Black I've read the "how to" and it says to connect the AFR to the white cable on the O2 Sensor. That what I did and also I've connected the white and black to the +12V. My AFR is on but the signal stay green (between rich and lean) all the time. On my previous car, I fixed it and when I was accelerating, It's was red (rich) and when I release the accelerator, it become lean. But here, it's stay the same (green) at all time!! 15/8 about 11am. Going past the hospital G reg, import TT.

My car runs great :cool: (up to 3000 revs - and then misfires :( ) with the MAF disconnected - re-connecting the MAF seems to make the 3 pots on the passenger side stop firing/misfire!!!!!! I assume I need a new MAF - anyone got one pleeeeeessssse?????? AndyGP :dance:

Hi, I'm looking at buying a new exhaust (cat back). I'd like something with a nice rumble that sounds sporty, but not mega loud. People have recommended the mongoose, but some say its not much different from the standard which I have at the mo. Any advice would be welcome..

On my zed, the rear spoiler is been removed and fascia panel/high level brake light has been fitted. Now the strip of bulbs running along the brake light, these are just 6 or so side light bulbs aren't they? Anyone removed them all and replaced them all with high power LEDs? What spec ones did you fit? Ta

Yeah, following on from my previous thread and all the nice suggestions, I've got myself a new battery and the only thing it solved was that my wipers dont turn itself on anymore when I turn on the ignition! Aint got a clue why it wont start but it doesnt make any nice noises so I've recorded the sound and recorded the dash lights! So please do tell me what's up! how the hell do you remove it without dropping the diff/subframe? the bolts for the bracket are hidden behind them! Yas

Anyone know who would sell the gaskets for manifold to downpipe and end of downpipe to rear part of exhaust, is it a main dealer job?

I have noticed recently that my selector on my autobox feel loose and when i move it from Park to N it makes a horrible metal bashing against metal sound. the box has only been on the car for 2 months, do you thing something has come loose? Hope its not fecked as its always seemd to take 2 attempts when cold to select 3rd (no delay like before just feels like it changes gear twice). . any idea's?

When im pulling away a low revs my car makes a sort of grinding noise, only every happens at low revs regardless of which gear im in! Any ideas anyone?

As i was looking round the cars at JAE saw this amazing paint job on a 300, kind of marble effect, its karl300zx car, does anyone know how much it costs for a paint job like that, there was also a blue one, cant find his/hers on the 'rides' section tho.

Hi guys, Any ideas where to get a clutch vacuum tank, would go without but i like my legs the way they are!! :dance: Oh and just one more question wot is the top end of a standard TT Zed manual!! First what should the standard boost read in bar is it 0.7? How do you adjust the clutch biting point? Found a nut behing the pedal but doesn't seem to do anything....
