Hi I'm currently driving an MR2 but lookin for a wee change and the 300ZX is top of my list just now, but I need some info and can't find what I'm looking for. These are basic things I need to know before I start going searching for one... What is the standard BHP of the import and UK TT? What is the 0-60 of the import and the UK TT? Are there any differences in models for the years that they came out? i.e. in MR2's there are different Revisions, which tend to have different brakes, wheels, changes in styling? What's the differences between the normal and the SWB? (apart from one is shorter) I've had a look about the site for quite a bit and …

My cars been standing for a couple of weeks as I've been injured. The battery was flat yesterday (never happened before) so I used jump leads and it all went fine and dandy. Drove it for a bit then brought it home, turned it off. Checked it would start and it did, if maybe a little weak but I had only done a few miles. This morning it was flat again. I guess the battery may need replacing, any thoughts. Everything else is fine, so I don't think the alternator is the problem?? Maybe it just needs running for a bit longer to properly re-charge the battery, or top up the fluid?? Any thoughts?? Dave

sorry for that lame question, but hopefuly someone will help here. fuel pump fuse keeps blowing (it happened about 10 times only today). Usually it happend when the car hits the bump or when I close the door or sometimes I think it just happens for no reason. Do not really want to go to the repair shop as I think there is probably a bad ground or somethinglike that. It is 300zx, 85, pretty rusty (especially the bottom of the car). Oh yeah, the fuse for the fuel pump is 10 but today 30 fuse was blown (happened on the highway, and I didn't have 10's anymore, only 30...) Thanks

HELP PLEASE! HELP PLEASE! HELP PLEASE! HELP PLEASE! Took my Z out yesterday night for a rare drive, got me to the pub fine with no problems. Coming out a couple of hours later as soon as i turned it over it started but tapped very loudly from the engine somewhere. I turned it off and tried again but the same noise carried on. It increased the speed of the tapping with the revs. As I nursed it home i noticed the oil pressure guage was reading 0 the whole time. This has never read 0 before whilst running. Have tried it again this morning and still does the same even does it when warm. Theres plenty of oil in there as it has not long had a service. Im …

I have a 1985 300 ZX turbo that will start and run perfect at 700 rpm, when I try to rev it up it misses with a lot of black smoke. Can anyone help. :headvswal

hi guys, my oil pressure sender isnt working properly (unless my car really works at 0 psi!), Is the one sold by Courtesy Nissan the same as the one for UK cars? Also, are there any aftermarket senders that work with the stock gague? Regards Darren

My zed was decatted by the last owner and I luv the look, thing is reception is really bad, just wondering if anyone knows of an aerial i could stick somewhere inside the car to get decent reception? Ive heard people suggest running aerial cable along windscreen pillars, but the car has still got the exisiting cable and reception is no good. Ive tried connecting the aeiral from the rear window heater but thats no better to be honest.. Open to suggestions really...

I think shunter may be having some problems as i can't get hold of him, so does anyone else have a front passenger side wing that they could sling in the post for me? I'm pretty desperate as I'm selling the car Slick Pete has offered me one which is great, but i'd have to drive miles to get it and it'd be more than postage to go get it!!
