Has anyone got the figures for front and rear track of the Z ?? Ive looked on the Excellent Aussie and NZ sites without success.

As the power steering has a return pipe, does this mean that it is self bleeding. Ive cut into the hydraulic system to fit a Hicas Eliminator & then closed it up again, if I top up the power steering fluid will that be enough ????

fitted indiglo dials and temp gauge dead? didnt touch needle...ant ideas?

Does anyone run them on here? Basically my rims sit too tucked into the arches...now I'm fitting my new ones the week after next, but I think they are the same offset. Basically, I want to fit some spacers to kick them out into the arches a little bit more. I want this sort of stance.... What would be advisable for spacer size then? Can normal studs hold out an extra 5 - 10mm?? Ta

I'm looking at replacing my stock filters with a single unit such as this one. http://www.dta-motorsport.co.uk/index2.htm Would I be correct in assuming that I just strip the airflow meter from the standard airbox, this connects as before to the fixed ducting, and the Apexi connects to the rear of the airflow meter? hi guys, my plan is too buy 92 tt 300zx manual early next year, however i have come across a 91 tt manual at a salvage's today. the engine, manual box, tubs and basically all the rest besides the shell is available. the car is a J reg import, and the clocks are still in km. the odometer is reading 120km. the engine looks clean and im really interested in it as an engine to take apart and re build over the summer as a project to get to know the engine ready for when i buy mine. can anyone advise my on how much this is worth roughly? their asking around £400 for engine and tubs, but i kno i can get them down. any tell tale sales that the engine is on the way out th…

the car drives fine , but sometimes when starting her up it doesnt spin over it just seems to cough one long wheezy cough , other times its like the starter motor hasnt engaged properly and there is a horrible metalic non meshing of gears noise..then it starts up no problems ..any ideas fellas , anybody had silmilar is the starter motor on the way out ??? is it something more sinister. cheers steve :( :confused:

hello got in car this morning started it up and the fan kicked in straight away as if it was overheating.i turned off the car and checked the water level and everything was fine.drove it approx 20 mile and started to overheat so i stopped and found that my radiator has droped down slightly causing the cap to press against the frame next to it.could this have caused it to loose water and overheat if it was pushing the cap away?it took about a litre and a half of water then the fan went off and is running ok now.cant see how the radiator is mounted to see what has made it drop.any ideas on any of this?

Hi, Just got my first zed today and I'm compiling my stuff to fix list! The dials have been changed from jap to uk spec and when the needle has been put on the rev counter the ignition was off and it was put on at zero so when the ignition is on it rises to about 1000 and over reads. How easy is it to get to the needle to move it? Secondly the tracking is out and the front tyres are showing high inner edge wear. Can the tracking be done by a normal garage? I.e is it the same as normal cars. Many thanks, more questions to come! Ed

Couple of questions re cooling, I have a Koyo rad to go on soon but noticed a lot of posts about Kenlowe fans, would this fan be an improvement? any pro's and cons for changing to a Kenlowe fan. I have a UK car, which has been converted to a manual. Would a Stillen or Nismo oil cooler be an advantage? They claim 300% more efficiency. Thanks Barry

Driving my zed to see the mrs at work and the following happend.. car was warned up with less than 1/4 tank of gas, no warnings and i went to over take a car, used Wide open throttle, from about 40mph, revs climbed to 4-5k then huge hesitation, revs dropped my foot was still on gas as i took in what happend, this dip n loss of power then climb cycle happend 2/3 time while i realised, took off WOT and then overtook. There was no sound from the engine like knocking or pinking or anything, so hopeing its not det... I refuled the car, let it warm up and tried it once more, same thing happend... also tried it with my profec B turned off exaclty the same.. The pro…

any idea on how hot to cook my rear lights and for how long??... im just a bout to pop them in to do my light conversion...

Done some searching and just wanna confirm.... Import wheels are 7.5j all around and uk is 8.5 rear and 7.5 front? Cheers Henry

Is there any diff between series 1 and series 2 ecu's? Can any or either be put in the different series cars? How can you tell which series the ecu has come from? Thanks
