Scroll down about 15 cars and you may recognise one (without the red bits!) https://financial10.com/worldwide/90s-cars-golf-ob

Came across this lovely example (now sold) at Tomini Classics in Dubai. What caught my eye apart from the superb condition of this car was the big brake kit fitted under the stock front wheels. I've seen cars with the stock calipers moved out with larger disks under stock wheels but this looks to be a BBK with much larger calipers and two piece brake discs. Very nicely done. Right click on images in link for nice hires. https://www.tominiclassics.com/featcar/nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/

I have noticed a hard-line that runs behind the tank and parallel to the rear bumper and loops back that seems to connect to the rear diff cooler. These are very rotten at a point on my Z. Can anyone advise on what the purpose is of these and whether I can just bypass the rotten looping hard-line? I don't have great access under the car in my garage so I cannot trace all the diff lines easily. I'm also finding UK spec specific diagrams, etc the usual challenge too! The looping hardline in question: Rotten: Can I safely bypass here:

Anyone know what this switch is. Its connected to an aftermarket box fixed to the removable panel below the steering wheel, thought the box was an aftermarket alarm at first.

If I could tap into the Z knowledge again please. 1990 tt jdm auto, resto well underway and heading towards mot. Engine sounds well, idles nice and pulling well but I'm getting excessive white smoke or actually steam equally from both exhausts, smoke is from idle increasing with revs when cold and also warmed up, including pure water dripping out (no coolant in it no smell, nearly fit to drink) It is using quite alot of coolant so it's definitely entering the system somewhere. I know the obvious is the head gasket but my feeling is its not as no other signs at all. My thinking is that it's getting in at exhaust side, my question is can the coolant to the turbos enter th…

My Z is missing the moldings which fit the underside of the boot hatch and fill the gap between the body & tail lights and the hatch itself... leaving an ugly gap and somewhere for water to creep further in than it should. I am trying to determine the parts needed and am quite certain I need the ones marked green in the diagram below (although these seem to be the only parts I can find so I hope there are no differences between LWB and SWB?). However, I have no idea what the part marked purple is or if I need that too? Also if anyone has any pictures of the underside of their hatch... that would really help me visualise what I am m…

Evening legends, I know I have a wanted ad up already about this however I’m going to keep bugging everyone until someone agrees to sell me their car ? I am after a LWB, Twin Turbo, targa, Manual in red or black. Don’t mind higher miles if it’s been maintained and I’m after one that’s on the road (or at least can be done so easily) so an MOT is preferable! Import would be preferable too, gotta love the JDM! I have a healthy budget up to £15k for the right car so please let me know.

So I’m wondering if many of you guys have used after market splash guards? I’m looking for opinions on what ones are good or not so good. If you have used them for a few years are they still in good shape or rotted away? thanks for any advice

so in a moment of madness I've just ordered an oem set of intake pipes, now I currently have hard pipes on so was wondering if anything similar to the original jubilee clamps is available (and what size I need) or would I just need to buy standard clamps?

My Zed passed the MOT yesterday with the following advisories 1. near side & offside rear track rod ends have slight play (I can get) 2. rear fuel pipes at rear corroded! All pipes. 3. rear power steering pipe/hose slightly corroded. All pipes Are there any diagrams or write ups of 2 & 3 that members know of? Do they have to be custom made as I doubt they are off the shelf pipes! Any help appreciated Arthur

I’m looking to lower my Z around 20-30mm and just wanted some advice if I could still run the stock shocks and drop links etc. Any pics people have of their lowered z’s with height dropped and spacer width used would be appreciated. many thanks.

Just wanted to make a post about the Ronin Import keys. Just received mine from them and the quality is exceptional. They also can decode and cut from your original key if you send them pictures and mine was cut perfectly. Saves the hassle of finding a lock cutter who can/will cut a titanium key. I also ordered their titanium bonnet props and the quality is just as good. I have attached a picture of how mine looks (with the key itself crudely scribbled out). If anyone is interested, you can get them here: https://roninimports.com/product/300zx-titanium-key-n1/

For aftermarket engine management setups which use MAP (manifold pressure) and IAT (intake air temperature) sensors then this little adaptor for a Bosch combined MAP and IAT sensor mounted to the EGR flange on the underside of the plenum could be of interest. (NB check the manufacturer's note regarding oil in the plenum). Great to see a new Z32 product innovation! https://www.polarengineering.co/product-page/nissan-z32-300zx-mounting-adapter-for-bosch-iat-map-sensor

Hi Brains trusts.. My son had some issues with the drivers side window (2+0) not going up when he bought the car. A few days later, it would go up - no problems. Now, we can't get it down. Is there a way to remove the inner door card? There appears to be a screw that is behind the window that we obviously can't get to to undo. The switch appears to work, I hear a relay clicking inside the door when the button is pressed, the passengers side works correctly. Just as a foot note, the power mirror will go up and down etc, but won't fold in - the passengers side isn't a problem. Any ideas? It may be a blown fuse, if so, which one, where? I hav…

I have taken the battery out of the Z to charge it. always had batteries where you take out plugs when charging this battery I cannot see any vents & do not want to put on charge in case it explodes any help what to do?

  23. 1996 300zx na - left side driver from US - rough idling after disconnect and reconnect of the injector connectors ( for resistance testing). Car was running smooth before and suddenly started rough idling after doing this injector connector ohm testing, it does look like all injector wiring connectors are seated properly again. does this procedure somehow reset the ecu idle setting to factory tuning ? .. i do remember i had this issue before with this car and i had a very good z mechanic at that time and he was was able to fix it quickly .. think it was the idle screw adjustment. And possibly disconnect and reconnect of the idle valve. But not entirely sure about the…

If you have a 300zx with an airbag steering wheel and change it for an aftermarket non air bag wheel then it will fail the MOT. Supra owner over here failed his MOT with after market wheel with out the airbag so be warned.

Rebuild of the 1990 TT jap auto going well, engine back in and running. Worked through all fault codes and just code 26 left, all voltage checks ok, reading +-2v as pressure changes , replaced the sensor anyway but code remains, yes I'm resetting the codes each time. I'm starting to wonder if it does relate to the boost sensor as that doesn't appear to be connected to the eccs just the gauge. Does it actually refer to the wastegate solenoid circuit? Any help/ thoughts appreciated.
