Hi, Did anyone email me with the subject line "300zx"? Had a very weird experience of receiving an email to my nick@delazo.com account with the subject 300zx then when i went back to the inbox it had disappeared again(!) My wife has decided she cant live without a 300zx in her life. Her Ford Fiesta has failed its MOT because of rust and she now thinks its time to upgrade. I feel that a NA model would be best as she has been used to a 1.3 4 banger, so its quite a step up to a V6, let alone a TT. Hi, I'm new here and new to owning a zed.. I have just bought what I have been told is tomonator 1990 300zx tt. Got it home tonight and been going over her. Found some issues. The first being the boost gauge on the dash isn't reading anything. Just sits in the centre on the 0 line. Next I switch on the headlights to find firstly that the dash doesn't light up, secondly that the sidelights come on (round ones) but not the headlights themselves (rectangle ones) now I do eat my carrots but i can see this being a little dim at night. Has anyone got the part number for a jap spec TT brake master cylinder? It's a bm57 fitted to mine, nabco iirc 1.1/17" size.

Just replaced my below ohm spec injectors today and it's still misfiring and idling horribly. Replaced the sparks, cleaned tps, maf and injector plugs, checked for vacuum leaks etc all seems fine. Running a power balance test almost stalls the car it only just hangs on in there, the only thing I can spot that's maybe not right is the lhs o2 sensor voltage, it's higher than the right. Any ideas?

Has any one relocated their cruise control buttons ? i use this feature quite a bit. especially when I'm on the m25 those pesky speed cameras are getting annoying I'm looking to buy an aftermarket steering wheel but most of them only have a horn button. just wondered if any one else has had the idea and rewired the cruise buttons cheers :)

What is the maximum off set people can get on wheels front and rear with out the use of wheel spacers or wide arches project banana has stupid 100mm wheel spacers and now i have to replace 2 bearings. i know exteme ofset will be no differant then using wheel spacers but i want to take of the vader wide arch kit and tame it down

Hey Guys, i know there have been posts reguarding this before but just want to clarify thing. Both of my windows weren't working. After taking both of the door panels of the passenger side start to work (must have been a bad connection) but the driver side isnt still working. The power amp seems to work as when i press the window switch i can hear a ticking noise from the amp. I can control the passenger window from the driver side so switchs are fine, so it must be the motor right?? any way i can test it? Also my central locking isnt working and have read it might be the solenoid (where abouts isit located). there was an alarm fitted before which packe…

Hello guys ,just realised on my z the TPS reads 0.88v which i know is not good ...0.45v is the right reading but i can't get it, it only goes down to 0.88v and above, I've changed the TPS with another one just to see if i can adjusted but no luck..same as mine...now i'm thinking if is got anything to do with me converting the car from auto to manual... ??? any ideas???

Just need some advice,the hicas unit on the near side wing (right hand drive tt jap import) one pipe goes to the resevior and the other goes to the pump i pressume?This is the pipe i need,do nissan or common stockist stockist hold it or does some one have one while i source one.Any part numbers if people know of any would be great....thanks in advance

Quicky guys... what is an ideal voltage for the O2 sensors at idle? Also the injector fire rate. On my digital gauge/computer I have in the car it reads inj 1: 2.7m/sec ... inj 2: 2.5m/sec. My question for the injectors is. Should they fire at exactly the same rate... later during acceleration inj 1 went to 10.7 while inj 2 went to 14.0. Could this be dodgy mapping as the injectors are only two years old.

Last week Tom tipped me off about an item on EBay that might be of interest to me. However this item was in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Undeterred I checked the seller's feedback then promptly paid for it. Well in super fast time it arrived today and I have to say I'm delighted with my purchase. Another Tokyo Auto strut brace complete with the additional brake master cylinder brace. I've recently removed my other one from my white zed and can now get them both to the chrome platers. I'm a happy bunny so thanks Tom you are a star.

I have had a good google but haven't found what I need. My gearbox is annoying me now, it is holding the car back, it hasn't "gone" but it is going. You can't rush it, I realised I have come to drive around the gearbox, Sarah doesn't want to be doing all double clutch revmatch downshifts so it needs sorting. A new 98 spec box is $1800 from the states, too much and I can only imagine the shipping costs. I would rather rebuild mine, the kits are cheap but I want to know if I can build my box up to 98 spec? Are there other options? I haven't found any, do supra boxes fit or similar? Obviously with modifications. I don't know quite how to sort this one. …

Mine has possibly gone, what one shall I replace it with? I've Been looking at some of the aluminium ones on eBay, any recommendations?
