Hi All, 300zx Z32 1991 My ZX oil pressure guage on start up is showing between 4-6. After about a minute or two of driving it drops to between 0 and the first marker which must be 2. Can anyone shed some light on what might be causing this. Really hoping this is nothing major. Thanks for your help. Paul

Hi, just wondered if anyone could tell me how to get my car to blow cold air (its not a stupid question  ) every time i turn the blower on all i get is hot air...the temp dial is set at 10, still i get nothing but hot air. The air con system has been removed by the previous owner so would this have anything to do with the problem? any ideas? cheers, sean.

Does anyone know of a competent mechanic or zed specialist who could fit a set of tubs to my car before the 9th of October? The reason for this is that the car is needed for filming...I have asked zen garage and mark is getting back to me after speaking to his mechanic, I'm also going to ask Paul at southwest but I know he's busy. Anybody know someone who can do this at short notice? I already have the tubs. Rob

I've just scraped through the MOT but I need new shockers fast. Anyone got any good ones (no racing specials please, I want to keep my teeth). Or, anyone know where I can get some good ones in the trade. Cheers, Steve.

after my blowout yesterday, the AA guy had to get rear wheel off. Its been lowered 40mm and has veilside skirts and a wide arch kit. He started jacking from the sill with a trolley jack - I told him no, and told him to do it from under the axle, where I thought would have been safer. anyway - long story short - he done it from the sill - is this recommended/right?? I know if you jack from the front sill you can pop the wing out slightly and damage it - but the rear looks like no damage has been done - luckily.

Am new to the site and am looking to buy a Z Turbo. I have noticed in the for sale section that a lot of the adverts mention PCV valves, PTU and hicas arms. Sorry to be really dumb  but what does PCV and PTU mean? And what are the HICAS arms? Thanks

bugger!... driving to work this morning the zeds stereo turned itself off and the aerial went down. the hicas and abs lights both came on accompanied by a faint battery light... the steering went very heavy... at which point i battled to turn it around and went back home, WOHOO, another day off! the speedo and the odometer were still working fine as was the tacho. im confused at the combination of problems here... any ideas?? Joel.

....but only for a week though, but I'm dreading it. Like to know it's close by and stuff. It's going into the bodyshop to have the rear bumper lower half of front bumper, tailgate and rear spoiler painted. So, taking off the rims tonight and putting on some JDM wheels... :wack: I'm going to prep the rear bumper and the lower half of the front bumper. Be interesting to see how quickly this rock guard effect comes off with a small rotary sander. I've hired one out for £10 for the weekend. Quite looking forward to getting the bumpers lovely and smooth. I've done a fair amount of bodywork over the time, and it's only light prep work, so confident it'll look good a…

having hot running problems (water temperature >80C normal running, rising to 90C+ during idle). Checked my oil cooler afer a medium long journey with water temp reaching normal temperature and it was stone cold steve austin. I guess that would indicate no oil flow through the cooler i.e. a blockage somewhere. The actual cooler block looks in good nick, stainless steel possibly even a retrofit with nissan markings. How would i go about checking and clearing the possible blockage. Hopefully i have identified the oil cooler correctly. it sits infront of the a/c condensor which sits infront of the radiator looking from the engine. It is a about 6" high and about 2" t…

Would it be possible to retro-fit UK spec front seatbelts into my JSpec Zed? Would the mounting points be there already? (as in the pic) And would the buckle end fit into my seat mounted clip? Or would the UK clip bolt to my seat? TIA  Dave

Just got one of these through and have to say that the quality is very good, much better than I thought it would... hopefully it sounds as good as it looks ;) So if any of you see it on ebay I wouldn't dismiss it because it is not as well known as the Mongoose or Blueflame one's...
