Hello all, I'm making my 300zx a track car only. So I try to win some weight every where. And this afternoon while removing the radiator of the A/C was thinking about using it for oil cooling as there is a fan. Can it be done as the radiator is bigger than the oil one? I've have Greddy warning gauge so could use that to monitor oil temperature and a switch to start the fan. Good or bad idea?

Put a datascan on my car today. Had a code 13 (last 30 starts) we cleared it and it hasnt come back yet. Will clean connecter and check that one again. More worrying was they two O2 sensors. They just sat at 35 at 2000rpm. They didnt sway as they should have? Will an Apexi A-SFC II affect how the O2 sensors work? There were two new ones put on on the 22/9/2004. Would they break that quickly? Apart from that everything else was alright!

i was driving to oxford this morning for an important course when my drivers rear tyre decided it had had enough @ 70mph.... milliseconds after it blew the tyre made the decision that it wanted to overtake me and carry on along the motorway... whilst watching my tyre drive itself into the laybay up ahead i was nearly crying at the sound of my nice 18" wheel grinding on the hard stuff!!!! after f'in and blindin for a few secs i put my raincoat on and stepped out into the pissin rain to slap the space saver on... after my pit stop i continued my journey battling to keep the car in a straight line through the hardcore downfall. i was 15mins late gettin to oxford an…

hi everyone just changed my prop bearing which was pretty bad. thought all was well, then i noticed when i accelerate i can feel knocking though accelerator pedal and also if i depress clutch slightly while accelerating. noticed tick over very erratic. keeps moving between 2000rpm and 1000rpm. got my head under bonnet and rev'd her up from there. its sounds like a burbling noise. very strange i know! im not suffering any loss in performance that i can really tell. really weird! help!

Finally got my car back from Autoglass with a new rear window seal, they charged £75 for removal and refitting of the rear screen but most importantly they did the job without a single scratch to the tint or bodywork so I am happy with that.

Just bought a turbo timer and gonna install it, doesn't seem too difficult just plug into the harness and earth out on body, however my turbo timer has a wire to connect to the hand brake and it recommends for safety. Has anyone experienced this before and is it necessary?

Pete (TurboZ) and Graham (GrahamS) connected my car upto Datascan the other month and found, that the timing stayed at 25 degrees, even when the car was left running and reached 81 temp. Any ideas what could be causing this? Car is a UK, manual conversion, has Koyo rad and Greddy SMIC. Thanks in advance. Barry

But do to the moral of this forum it doesnt leave me with much enthusiasm to push this club forward .. im fantatical about the Zeds , have owned 2 in the last 6 years , i have met some great guys from here over the past year As some of you were also aware i ran for the NEO's postion, but due to our Chairman who promised the earth then couldnt be bothered to return calls etc i decided against ..which was another factor for cancelling the Convoy i wanted to reorganise the Convoy event .. but does it realy seem worth it i'll be at the meets for a chin wag and a laugh .. but t…
