Hi All,

 

300zx Z32 1991

 

My ZX oil pressure guage on start up is showing between 4-6. After about a minute or two of driving it drops to between 0 and the first marker which must be 2.

Can anyone shed some light on what might be causing this.

Really hoping this is nothing major.

Hi Paul,

 

The oil pressure gauge is basically rubbish. Best to get an aftermarket one or change the sender if you want to stay standard :)

How you doin anyway vijay not got round to fitting them dials yet waiting on luke to send chrome dial rings hopeing to get to do it next week when get car back from body shop, let you know how i get on

Mine starts off high, let it drop after warming up then stays low unless under boost. Don't stress unnecessarily like everyone with a gauge for everything!

How safe is it to turn the boost up? If its safe to do, then by how much?

Just get used to the car first, if you are happy, leave it as it is, if not then consider upgrades!
