300 TT auto, I gather when I floor the old beast, the power light to the left of the o/d light should illuminate. Is this correct? Also while driving away from a traffic light sensibly, it came on for approx 1/4 mile........why? Does it indicate some other fault? To get rid of the light i had to engage 'N' and then put back in 'D'. The rest of the drive home 7 miles it did not come on again. Any answers greatfully received......thanks.

well nearly when driving from a cold start, the car nearly cuts out when i dip the clutch, then when pulling away it hesitates and starts to what sounds like a slight miss, then whe warm the idle sometimes sits at 2000 rpm, but bliping the throttle will send the revs back to normal (it still hesitates when pulling away) also if accelerating hard from standstill then go into second gear, wheni try to accelerate again (in second gear) it feels like there is no power at all (as if some limiter is stopping me from accelerating any ides p.s would driving with tps dissconected determin if it was that that was at fault (also the same with disconecting temp s…

Hi, I have bought a trust oil cooler from kirbz with its sandwich plate, which attaches in between the oil filter and the block. My question being, do you just get rid of the old oem one and block off the oil feeds to the oem one bearing in mind the trust one connects to its sandwich plate via its own piping etc ? Mark

I have been without my zed for one whole month and I can't take it any longer. I am about to burst! no other car for less than 10k can give you so much... so I am looking for another one. My question is what is the best year to go for? My guess is a '95/96 since thats the latest year we can get now... but is it? is any particular year have mods more desireable than other years? I know 99 spec is great - but I can't get hold of one so serious answers only please!

I`m looking to replace a set of tyres and have heard some good reviews of Falken FK-451`s, what is the difference between them and the FK-452`s??? Apart from price - the FK-452`s being a few quid cheaper (tbh I`m not too bothered about the price difference and I wouldn`t let it sway me from one brand to another unless it was a huge amount) Has anyone used both if so which did you prefer?? Specifically I`m interested in wet weather performance ( I do live in Sotland after all  ) Also can anyone compare them with Toyo Proxes T1-R. Apologise for bringing this subject up again as I seem to remember something similar not that long ago but cant …

What i mean is, is there any I.D. on the rims saying they're j-spec, or wider? Need to get some wider rubber on the back as its like a spider on ice skates in the rain :S Rich PS I'm on 245's at the mo.

My Zed, although a 1995, does not have electric seats so I have bought an old drivers seat with the electrics in good working order and now want to transfer these electrics to my drivers seat (which is in excellent condition). I was advised on an earlier thread that it wasn't difficult. Would anyone who has done this conversion please give me some advice as I have looked at both seats and, to be honest, it doesn't look an easy job at all. Dave
