I'm going to be running more power and i already have the famous 4th gear crunch. I havn't replaced the oil with MT-90 yet, will this be ok in a high hp car say 600+ ish. Or does this need replacing? and what are my options? I know OS Giken make a kit for the Zed and they offer different options for gearing, i got myself in a muddle and thought the higher ther gear the higher top end you will have but i downloaded the Quaife speed calculater and it's the other way around. I would ideally like a faster acceleration but a higher top end so thinking something like a closer 1-3 and a higher 5th for more top end, not that i intend doing it but it would just be r…

I want to improve the acceleration of my Zed via altering the Diff but... At the same time I also want a better diff so i get more power on the road before the Traction control takes it away. So when buying a new diff, would i also replace the gearing of the diff with a leadergears gears? or can i specify gearing when ordering a new diff? stock gear is 3.69 and leadergears is 4.10. I don't want to fit a NA diff neither. In your opinion who makes the best diff? i know Cusco, Quaife, Nismo and Kaaze make them for our cars

Hi is there an easy way of changing the heater fan without pulling the dash out? Had her off the road for winter and low and behold I fire her up and the heater fan is making a right din. sounds like a dry bearing.

Is there a minimum wheel width you can reasonably fit on a zed.. Seen some wheels at 7J, but not too sure if that's a bit narrow for a zed (N/A) I had 12J rears fitted to my Strosek Twin Turbo.. Thanks, GUMBALL.

I just got mine done and have just put it onto datascan and have noticed the timing readout on it is now 25 when warm at idle, I remember on birds his was 25 as well and his was a conversion, any people out there with a datascan or such and a converted car can you check yours for me and see if its a common thing.

As above.. im picking my new Z up on Monday, i had mine for 4 years so know them quite well.. but you can never have to much knowledge! So what do i need to look for? and she is an auto and iv not driven one before so what do i need to look out for on that? I have seen her on sat and the engine sounded good with no tappet noise, not to fussed about the oil as i will give her a full service once home, cam-belt was just changed and new tubs in 1995 so she should be ok for a while. no rust as far as i can see either, and the exhaust looks in good nick.. the brakes are crap but i think they just need bled as they were just spongy Thanks in advance :duffer…

Hiya Guys Quick question, which one of the two ; Engine coolant temperature sensor or Engine water temperature sensor relays their reading to the ECU..I´m guessing coolant temp and the water temp sensor is connected to the temp gauge...right ? Cheers Mario

I want a place that has done loads of these before and will do a good job of fitting mine. Don't mind travelling but not the other end of the country! Where are your suggestions?

Just put the zed on stands and it took the best part of an hour in the rain! At one point the car rolled forward about 2 inches and scared the sh*t out of me! Cracked a 2 ton stand too! Doesnt help that my car space isnt 100% level either! I had already put measures in place to stop the car rolling but they were 2 inches away and the car rolled slightly onto a brick. Phew its secure now, Just wish it would stop raining so i can start taking the prop off to get rebalenced!

My neighbours have started to board up their windows, and as I leave my estate I can hear cars alarms going off, dogs barking and babys crying in my wake........ My Mrs is telling me it's due to the stainless steel exhaust that is on my TT. Does anyone produce a high performance that is actually quiet? Do you have a SS exhaust you wish was a bit louder? give me a shout and maybe we can do a deal...

Just got the old girl backon the road. Filled up with Sainsbury super unleaded and went for nice drive. Fine that day so of to work next day to show off the new paint job. All way there everything was fine. After work I decided to clean the car along with the engine. Only squirted the engine with hose but now it seems like it is permanently overfuelling. It runs fine on idle but all the way home I could not put foot right down as it spluttered and had real lack off power but if I back off a little it goes momenterily. Spent all day yesterday taking all connecters off and cleaning them and spark plugs but no joy. It is now 2 days later so would have thought if the wate…
