Hello chaps. Just lately (this seems to happen when I haven't used the car mon-fri)the digital clock doesn't come on for about 10 - 20 miles. I assumed it was a slightly flat battery, especially as the weathers been freezing. Also when I turn the lights on the clock dims, it's always done this, is it correct ?

Can anyone tell me how much an automatic gearbox weighs for a 300ZX. I've just bought one and i am having it shipped to Motherwell but the company i've arranged delivery only deal up to 50kg, this is just under 8 stone. I thought this would be ok but now i am not so sure. If the weather had been better i would have had my own off by now. (I've re-posted this as it was in the wrong forum, sorry)

Hello all!, I have posted a couple of times about this problem and had no joy? I have a 91 uk spec twin turbo with an auto gearbox I have two problems with it, the first is:- When driving on cold engine I select reverse drive back and after a few feet the box seems to click into a mode as if i was using the brake and gas peddal at same time its fine when warm. The second problem is:- when driving forward hard the gears go 1st to 2nd then 2nd to 4th after a few seconds it kicks into 3rd then to 4th. I have tryed the diognostic gearbox test but it doesent work? Can anyone please help me with this??? And thanks in advance!!

Last night my car started to refuse to go into any gears, I eventually, with brute force manged to get it working but you really have to push it very hard into any gear now. It does not crunch and does it in every gear so I dont think its the box (praying its not!!!!). I could smell clutch at the end of the journey, not badly, but I could definitely smell it. It gets slightly easier the further you drive and if you double de-clutch but its not right. I had an RPS fast road clutch fitted about 1000 or so miles ago, its always been a bit stiff. I also had my gearbox oil changed about 100 miles ago. The car leaves no oil deposits on the floor when parked. Are RPS c…
