was thinking about having my uk tt auto converted to manual but i havnt had it long so havnt spent much money on it, should i just sell it and buy a manual or have it converted? whats better, a Z converted to manual or a Z built as a manual? :confused:

Hi folks, i would appreciate your help with this as i need to get the car in for a MOT. I new the fog light wasn't working as it was very rusty, so i bought a new one, it's the awful brachet type that hangs from the bumper. Anyway, wired up the new one, went to check it and it wasn't working, at this point i also noticed that the drivers side stop lamp/red driving light also wasn't working (not sure whether it was working prior to this). I have checked all the fuses i can find, under the bonnet and in the footwell, with no success. Graham. I have found the stop pins BUT! sorry mate they are broken. I was furious when i found them The base of the pins are still intact but would need some kind of pin super glued to them (see pic) if you want to have a go I will send them to you mate. Sorry.

What is the best stuff to seal the headlights with when I put them back together? They seamed to be stuck with a grey silicone stuff rather than the black goo that are on the back lights. Anyone know what I should use? Ta, Graham.

Hi all, Was just wondering whats the nearest Zed Specialist to me, im located in Worthing, West Sussex, Have a Zed that needs the following sorted out: oil leak at back of the engine... the heating isnt working as it needs new pipes at the back of the engine... (blowers dont even work) possibly need a new heater matrix.. and its got some water leaks that need sorting out..

ok did diagnostics this morning I cleaned my PTU and temp sensor as I would on anything else with WD etc and now the damn thing wont start just pops and bangs codes 34 13 21 PTU temp sensor and Det sensor so where od I start now thanks chris

I have just bought a vented Black bonnet and tailgate from Blackmagic and am thinking that it might look nice with the top of the car all black and the bottom red? Checking out prices for induction kits alot £100 plus Thinking of making my own from universal K&N Charge filter, what size pipe will i need or i might a fabricate s/s one. Im sure it will be easy enough anyone done this ?

right i have the front of my car in pieces....trying to take of the re-circs but didnt know there is a hidden bolt around the back of the re-circ and i cant get to it!! how can i get to it!!!! help asap i need to start work at 3!! :confused: :confused:

I am going to move my bovs to the recirc pipes that are blocked off with alloy bungs. The trouble is they were fitted by the previous owner . Can anyone tell me which pipe to use as there is two per side so nearest to the wheel or nearest to the induction Thanks Allan

I'm running 235x35x19 fronts (8.5") and 265x30x19 rears (9.5). Was wondering if anyone is runing 245 fronts and 275 rears on similar wheels. Just think with the 235/265 combination, my rims are quite exposed, even though these tyre sizes were recommended by the supplier where I bought them. Cheers Steve

just wonded if like myself anyone prefers the way the car drives on the normal zed wheels,tried 17" allso had a spell with 18" but i can truthfully say having uk rims with 225 and 245 with a 40 section tire seems to give the car a lighter and more nimble feel with no traction problems except the rears away from the lights ;) but the car with 16" turns into bends alot faster i think

Was enjoying a good drive out in the zed today after ages due to a hectic work schedule and out of all bloody days it decides to pack in today..... Called the AA out and the guy did lots of tests......he found out that the fuel pump relays and connectors are all working etc etc but the car isint being fed fuel........he goes it could be the Fuel pump.......is this possible? The car was driving well and pulling well and then an hour later after i come back to it it wont start.... The car hasint played up before other than it cutting out when i stop on a odd occasion and the revs going a bit funny when i slow down but thats nothing out of the extrodinary …

Well i picked up my zed 2 days ago and its been running fine. Tonight I was coming home from work and heard a clunking noise coming from the passenger front wheel. It slowed down and speed up when I slowed down/sped up. Anyway, it got quite bad after about 1 mile and it sounded like i had a flat tyre so I pulled over into a farm lane/dirt track and as I came to a halt I heard a clang and something fell off my car... Looked along the track and found a piece of metal with a load of nuts and bolts all over the floor. Inspection of the front passenger wheel I noticed that my Nismo LM 2-piece split rim alloys had almost come apart and nearly all but 3 bolt…

Ppl, Can i splice in another OBD port on to the dash loom,this may sound like a strange requet but i have data scan and i'm looking at some gadgets that require an OBD port to work, now i have 2 more OBD ports and wondered if there would interferance(sp) from one port to the another? Cheers Neil
