Went around to see how Neil was getting on with his manual box convert. Was generaly talking when my eyes fell on a HKS induction on the floor. "Wooo I said just what Im looking for to do a twin induction." It was looking a bit sad as the grills rust in the zed due to the fact they sit quite low and get wet. The good ole boy said "you wan it, Id rather have Apexis." "Take it "  (This is a £130.00 induction we are talking here) Fair play thats made my life easy so I spent an hour sorting it out tonight Neil cant thank you enough :duffer: few of these coming your way Allan

Right I have now discovered (thanks to help from club members) that the wheels I have are standard 350Z alloys. If I am to put these on to my UK TT what size tyres should I use. 350Z alloys are 8J X 18 alround but obviously my UK has staggered wheel sizes. Do I still need to drop the rear to 35 or should I just run with 40s all round. Would also be quite keen to up the widths from the standard 225 and 245 respectively. Any advice welcome as I know sod all about tyre configurations.

Here you go, pull the pipe off the clutch booster nipple and plug it with a 8mm bolt, your clutch will be heavy, but if it is the booster thats at fault this will stop the clutch slipping. Sorry I will have to find a manual engine picture the one I have in my pics is an auto, wont be long Here you go

Might be a handy reference for everyone, to have a pic of the rear of your zed's backboxes and what make they are?

The car i'm purchasing is going to have the doors looked at before I pick it up. The car is a swb 300zx tt manual The key fob only disarms or arms the alarm, you actually have to unlock and lock the car with the key (not sure if this is the same with all zeds?) When you unlock the car with the key, open the door and shut it to again (whilst still outside the car) the door locks itself. This happens for both passenger and drivers side doors. Does anyone know why this would happen?

I have been ofered a very nice set of 6 spoke alloys. They are original Nissan (with Nissan centre caps) and are stamped up on the rear with 18 X 8JJ. Offset is 30 (which I belive is correct for the Zed) and it also states CD100 (not sure what this means). Have tried them on and although they appear to fit, they do look a little big but that could be down to the wrong size tyres - 235/45X 18 front, 255/45 X 18 rear. They are in immaculate original condition and I am only paying £150 for them. The tyres are excellent Bridgestone Potenzas - just a shame they are the wrong size. My question is, what does CD100 mean and if I am replacing UK spec original alloys will the…

I have the option of getting my old rims refurbed. I don't think it's going to be that costly but I am unsure as to whether I should do it or not. I have a number of questions/dilemas. 1. Do I prefer my new rims? I know, it's a stupid question! 2. Would I prefer my old wheels if they have a black centre? 3. Would I be able to sell either of these sets of rims? Bear in mind that the ultimate dream is to respray the Zed to stock black, so the balck rims would look sweet.
