mornin fellas... help! (excuse the way I explain everything but...........) Ok rear window heating thing has fallen off (Pic below) Its meant to stick on to here (where its a bit yellow) Thing is - obviously I am meant to glue it back on with some sort of conductive glue (am i right) Well.... I went to Halfords, Motorworld, Maplin and no one has any... Any idea what i can use or where i can get some... Thanks xx

ok this is proving fun I checked all the fuel pipes on saturday with throttle cover off nothing seems to be leaking it does smell above the passenger side regulator but problem is you cant see FA with how crammed it is Ill put some talc on it to try but when I put it in the garage last night it temp gauge fine but I could swear I had a bit of a burning smell from engine NOW this morning it appears to be running on 5 cylinders no sign of mechanical failure so its looking electrical take it i check the coil packs first then what ? it also Ive put 35 quid in its back on empty almost and has done around 40 miles :eek: shall I do t…

I was away last week so my would have been sitting in the presumed wet of london for the past 7 days and now will not start. it turns over but will not ignite. i can hear a knocking sound from the rear off side which i guess is the fuel pump so i guess that is fine. strangly when i first went to start it it seemed to ignite once then immediately die but since then no ignition at all. It was behaving a bit strangly before i went away in all the wet and snow by revs dropping low during idle like it was about to stall. Okay here goes... I love walking back to my Zed and seeing it's low and mean looking front and thinking that's mine. The pulling up at traffic light with the targa's off and getting stared at by silly little boy racers and then watching them disappear rapidly into nothingness in my rear view. The sound as that V6 fires up. Listening to that deep low grumble as I slowly plant my right foot. Thoose twin turbo's kicking in and pushing me back into the very comforty and supportive leather seats. Hi folks, I am looking for a heavy duty car cover as the Z will be outside for a while. I have heard that the Gold Technalon ones are good. Please let me know if this is the case or recommend me a good one. I have been through the cheapo ones, halfords etc.. and found that within a couple of months they tend to disintegrate. Cheers.

Iv recently had the dreaded leaking targa syndrome...... whenever i get into the car the seats are wet and a bit of the front carpet but today i decided to check the back of the car late at night as i had some stuff in the back which needed clearing up..... (i had washed the car in the morning) The rear carpets were drenched and really wet......how can this be? The rear seats were as dry as can be.......the heater matrix was only replaced in december so its defianetly not that......even then only the front carpets were affected from the leak Any help would be appreciated as im starting to get worried im gonna start getting soggy carpet syndrome Fa…

The zed import i'm buying has a Blitz ECU listed as one of the mods that was made by the previous owner. Is this an entirely new ecu? is it another name for a chip? If it's a chip then if I decided to purchase a boost controller and up the boost, would this be safe? The car already has filters & exhaust.

Ok we all know that the zed is the most perfect car ever made :), but if you could perfect it even more what would you change? For me I have a twinplate OS Giken clutch that rattles when the clutch is pressed, as one of the two clutch plates is free to spin :rant:

Car has cat back nismo exhaust system and that about it. What i would like to know is what some on here would do with 5k to spend on the car. The following are my ideas. Have already booked the car in for a full leather retrim in silver and black including all door cards and panels. £800 all in Also getting some 18-19 wheels, any ideas? Then thinking of getting full kit and 4 pot lambo lights. Going to have a full respray as well just to get away from the aged look. …

OK First of all i know the three main things are piston rings PCV valves or turbo seals. So i dont need to know the possibillitys I want to know what its likely to be with my symptoms After driving and leaving my car turned off for a little while and then startin it up again to warm up after a few min im getting oil smoke coming out of the RIGHT exhaust. Its very heavy. but if i drive on full boost it clears instantly. Then at no other point will this happen again even if when i finish driving and let run for a min its still clear Come on any solutions

THIS IS ON MICHELLES HYUNDAI COUPE BY THE WAY ok when i put a full tank of fuel in the car kangaroo hopps and it sometimes cuts out when coming to halt. if i wait till i use some fuel its fine. Also if i leave fuel cap off it doesnt do it. when i take it off i get a masive hiss as if its releasing pressure. Also the fuel guage only works when the petrol cap is off shell

What documents should I get? I was told that the DVLA keep a lot of the documents and your more than likely only going to get the v5. I'm not even sure if there is a service manual with the car as this would all be in japanese?
