Hello, Have a problem with High idle  Have conducted a search and found a few topics but nothing that can assist me. My engine idle's at approx 14-1500 when warm. :mac1: If i disconnect the Yellow Idle valve there is no change in rpm, if i operate the Aircon as usual the Rpm increase's. I have checked tps setting and this was setup on a conzult last. the voltage at idle is 0.42 volts.if i disconnect grey tps connector there is a slight rise in Rpm then it drops back to 1500 rpm. I have tried to perform a basic idle adjustment with idle valve yellow connector disconnected and i have no decrease only an increase in rpm. All connectors are clean and corro…

My key is stuck in the ignition! :headvswal The key wont do that extra turn to the left to release it. The button presses in but doesnt feel like its poping out far enough. My car is now in the car park with the key in the ignition! Lucky my alarm fob is in my pocket and the car is locked. It has been getting stuck intermittantly over the last week or so. I think the cold weather may have something to do with it. Any ideas?

i notice theres a fair few people in the uk with aftermarket tubs on their z's. i'm looking at hks 2530's or the greddy td05 20g (i think) i want decent bhp at least 500+ - but i'm worried about spool up time on the greddy turbo - how long does it take? or at what revs does it kick in off the line. i'm more into track than drag thats why i'm considering the hks as its got a really good spool up time according to reviews. as anyone got any info as some of you have these tubs already? how do they compare with response on stock tubs? cheers

Which side is it on (big or small connector)? Previous owner moved the PTU to inner wing but at same time taped all the wires together so I have to fish it out again.

Zeds been off the road and not started for about 15 months. Started her up today and....STARTED FIRST TIME. After that long sitting under covers in the garage! Amazing. Sounds as sweet as a sweet thingy so I guess I'd better get her MOT'd, taxed and back where she belongs! :hyper: Just wanted to say hi again

Has anyone fitted these universal ones or shall I avoid it like the plague? £95 difference is a major saving. Thanks in advance for any suggestions Ian

On the rear of the display module theres the cable that goes to the input/output box under the bonnet, the connector for the air/vacuum feed and an- as yet unfigured out third short lead with a 3 pin connector. Oi, sunshine - you and yer crappy Golf GTi. You, sir, are a complete arsewipe. Kindly learn to drive somewhere away from your elders and betters and stop being such an arrogant, dangerous little prick. :nono: When that series of arrows in your lane points you left, that means you must give way and merge with due consideration to road users already in the left lane. Not behave like the moron you are. I've got your number and have seen you around Slough before so mend your ways before divine retribution descends upon you. And by the way, if there are any boys (or girls) in blue reading, here is an instant easy collar. The little sh1t's left hand r…

Spoke to the chaps over at the automatic gearbox specialists, my gearbox had completely burnt out so they are fitting a new one for me which is going to cost me an arm and a leg literally (£1800 inclusive of VAT), then the zed is going back to the regular garage to have the oil leak and the remaining water leaks fixed then after that it SHOULD be happy motoring.. you may think i am a fool for spending this kind of money on a car i bought for £1250 but i love it too much and its a minter apart from these faults and it was definitely too good to scrap!, they said it will be ready to be picked up next week from Hove so I will go and take it to the garage round the corner and…

My passenger side front speaker is all buzzy when I play 'Gold Digger' by Canye West. I take it this means it's fooked and I should replace the front speakers? Can anyone point me in the direction of some decent replacements? I want some that install easily in the original pods, work fine straight from my head unit and don't cost too much. Cheers folks! :hyper:
