hi guys i am removing hicas and cant find n/a pump etc at the moment , i like the idea of removing impellor from tt pump, can any one who has done it tell me how easy it is?? am i right in thinking if i plug inlet and outlet from resevoir, remove impellor and block spare outlet in pump (to stop c--p getting in) this is the pump mod complete?? :confused: regards steven

Well here are my new wheels in situe... NOW you may be asking, "why's he not showing the whole car?" WELL that's where the fun starts... They came off a zed right? Correct What i didn't think about before i bolted one on was the fact that the front TT calipers are 4mm wider than their NA siblings :headvswal SO been up to Slick Pete's to get his advice and we've settled on me swapping my calipers and discs for his spare na setup temporarily. So after being without the car for 3 days while they sorted out the f*** up with my brakes at the cost of 50 quid, i now have to shell out another load of money just to get them to fit arr…

Anyone got any photos of these as I don't have one and have just fitted an apexi cone filter and was thinking it would be easy enough to make. Thanks in advance

i fitted the lambo light conversion 2 weeks ago before taking the car for full respray. When i picked the car up and got it home i noticed the lights are playing up - it seems to be blowing bulbs (although they dont look blown) but as soon as i put a spare in their ok again. The brake light does not seem brighter than the driving lights (when i have lights on you cant notice the brake lights. Is it possible that i have wired the brake lights and the drivng lights the wrong way round and what could cause the bulb blowing all the time. Hope this makes sense - any help much appreciated

I am looking at replacing my front tweed seats and I am looking for a recaro or cobra type seat, not there racing style seat but a comfortable hugging seat pref material not leather in black or dark grey. I am also preferably looking for a straight swap or one that comes with rails that will be a straight replacement. Heated would be nice but not neccasary and they need to be reclining with a tilt mechanism for people getting in the back. Has anybody bought and fitted anything like this?? where from and how much? Hey guys anyone what what limiters are on jap tt's when imported? I've got what seems to be 2 rev limits 1 in 4th & 1 in 5th dunno if this is standard or not & am guessing it's not a speed limiter as it's abou 6k in 4th & 4.5k in 5th. Is this just a black box job?

Whic ones are better? and also they don't look like they go up vertically but at a angle. Also can you adjust how much the door opens before it goes up? The first link are local and cheaper but zcentre specialises in our cars.

Nearly T Boned some old deer on Friday as my brakes were asleep and cold. Time to address this now me thinks. I've got DBA drilled and grooved Discs with Portafield Carbon Kevlar pads, Standard hoses, No idea how old the brake fluid is, Rears are drilled and grooved discs with portafield pads also. Will draining the brake fluid and upgrading it help? Seems a shame to dump the pads and discs as they are new! Is there anything that can be done to the servo? Andy

This attempted theft was reported to Surrey police this afternoon as a intoxicated man in his mid to late 40's was caught on camera making away in a 300zx. The man described as a "hoodie wearing thug" was reported to stagger towards the vehicle and then took 3 minutes trying to find the door handle to the vehicle (see picture). Bystanders were reported to be too scared to approach the man as he looked to be too dangerious and was hurling abuse at nearby photographers. As above. Is there anyone pretty close to me (dont mind travelling too far mind) who can fix my central locking? It doesnt work with the key on the drivers side. When you put the key in it turns 180degrees to the left and hardly at all to the right. Decent beer tokens as i have a car on my drive that i cant lock so need to fix it asap. Ps: Dont bother asking for my address to come hear and fix it tonight :rofl: :rofl:

Tighten the head bolts, then loosen them then do them back up again? Is that so you dont have to check them again in a few hundred miles or something???

hi guys, when changing pas pump to non-hicas i understand i have to change high pressure pipe from pump to rack, can i change just the flexible hose or do i have to change both flexi and metal pipe that go to rack, hope that makes sense? as i need to decide whether to refit engine this week or wait till pipe is changed? ALSO CAN ANYONRE SUPPLY ME WITH NON-HICAS CONVERSION I,E PUMP BRACKETS HOSE ETC? SORRY THIS ISNT THE RIGHT PLACE BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK IN WANTED FORUM!! :nono: regards steven

i need a new main beam bulb for my zed, tried searching and it sems the H1 type bulb fits, but my old main beam bulb has three prongs where as the H1 bulbs seem to have only one ! any input would be appreciated.
