 Just my luck, left for work early this morning got 500 yards down the road when the wiper linkage popped of. Drove home to do a quick repair which didn't work, had to drive to work in the pouring rain with just the passenger side wiper connected :nono: got there 30mins late. Have splashed (excuse the pun) out on a brand new one from dealer which should arrive on Saturday, managed to swap the linkage round at work so hopefully it will not fall of going home!

As some of you may know i've lost £350 towards a set of R33 Calipers sold by a chap on the GTR forum. He goes by the name of Nigel Zingler and gives false address details and contact numbers he also uses a hotmail account in the name of TollZingler. The Police in Plymouth are now aware of this and have had a further x4 complaints all relating to the same guy based in Plymouth. If he does appear on here do not give or transfer any money to him....Nat West fraud dept. are also in contact with the Police who will supply any information they need today. However if by chance anyone does get a legitamate address or contact number for him please let me know a…

I'm thinking of removing the cover under the bonnet as after 16 years it looks rather tired. Will this affect the paint or can you gt something else to reflect the heat like foil?

My imported zed speedo is in kmph Is there any kind of digital device i can get about as big as a boost controller which would sit on my steering wheel column just by the speedo and calculate my speed in mph? I just want a little digital display which shows me how fast i'm going rather than me having to convert the clocks/speedo over. Links to mentioned products? i.e - ebay. Any help appreciated.

Right picked up the car today and have a couple of Q's. The car in question is a 92 TT manual swb slicktop import 1) The car has 2 alpine stereos. One a cd player/tuner, the other a mini-disc player. The cd player/tuner only seems to go to frequencies upto 90.0 and therefore cannot get any decent radio stations in my area. Is this because its a jap imported stereo too? It also doesnt like to play copied cd's lol. 2) The alarm fitted is a Micro DLR4HD. Do you think this would have been fitted in the UK? The central locking doesnt seem to work correctly. Are the 2 front doors controlled via rods as when I unlock the door it makes a kind of a buzzing sound and…

After reading that almost 30-40% of zeds seen are running in safety boost i decided to do an ECU test tonight. Having never done one before i might of gotten this wrong but any help to explain would be appreciated. accessed the ecu turn the ignition on but didnt start car. Turned pot fully clockwise - waited 3 seconds and turned back. I then get three long flashes and four short flashes. I assume this is a code of 34 as this cycle of three long and four short flashes just continues. Having read the ecu test help page i have found the following... 34 Detonation Sensor circuit The detonation sensor circuit is open or shorted (abnormally high or low …
