Is there an R36 as i didn't think there was. Also does anyone have a list of all the engines such as ours is a 32vdett or whatever it is lol :x:

The car ain't been used for about a month and the drivers seat electrics have stopped. Any ideas on common faults with these and what I should check 1st please? :)

was heading home tonight on a nice open em runway :D so i thought il put the foot down got up to 125 od button pressed it went onto the next gear and just sat at 4k revs any ideas? its a 94 tt auto.

Hi All, My old exhaust has rusted out and I'm going to replace it with a stainless steel system. I'm looking for the full system as it has rusted from the cats all the way down! Its a LWB (2+2) Turbo. I'm not sure whether to cut out the cats or get new ones. If you get rid of em is it illegal, and does it still pass the co2 test on an MOT?? I have been looking around and its not easy to get an entire system. where did everyone else get theirs??? Post it up!

recently bought a 300zx, at first only bought it to sell it on but after a few miles in it, i fell in love with it a few quick questions 1). i am lookin for leather back seats (ideally orange and black ones, but any will do) for the 300zx, but cant find any on ebay etc 2). i have decided to keep the car for a year or so was also wondering how much do they sell for, i bought mines for 3k from a friend who is a mechanic its a J reg 3 litre 24v v6 twin turbo (between 420-450bhp) engine rebuilt chipped boost valve twin 4 inch front to rear exhaust de-catted induction kit leather seats at the front new brakes all round full body respray …

Am after a set of aftermarket pedals and if you have any pics please post them up and what was involved in fitting them?

if any one can help me i would be very pleased. just brought a jap non turbo . on the clock it only reads 180kpm and i have been told that this is because they are imports and come like that.the car obviously doesnt go above this speed . what do i have to do to make my lovely car go quicker. just drove all the way to spain and the engine seems sweet help please any one , also what sort of cost am i looking at

Hi back again have replaced the manifolds on my n/a with some from 2fast2 cool they said they fit with no modifying but as my mum says i must be special as the righthand side lambar sensor fouls on the steering linkage i got round this by blanking the hole in the new manifold and welding a new position on the exhuast about 3" down from origional place does anyone know if this will affect anything with reguards to the sensor working cheers ade

Hi all.. I am considering buying a set of 19" alloys for my SWB N/A, that has HKS hyper damper adjustable lowered suspension fitted. I was only going to consider fitting a maximum of 18's, so as to not ruin the handling etc. but a set of 19's have become available. Are there any drawbacks to fitting 19's on a lowered zed? When you consider the mods that we do to our cars did Nissan even get close to perfecting the Z32? Most of us start with a standard model and then over the years change almost everything that is changable. ECU's, Brakes, Induction, Turbo's, Exhausts, Wheels, Body parts, Seats the lot. I was just sitting here thinking about it and thought I would ask this: What do you think Nissan used that should not be changed unless it brakes on the 300ZX?

just found some de-cat pipes on petrolheads, but for some reason they will only fit series 1 uk cars and not series two? :confused: whats the difference? :confused:

Hi guys is a manual tt starter motor the same as a automatic tt thanks taff.

Some of you may know I recently sold my much loved twin turbo Strosek zed to Spongey.. A top fella by the way.. Only 2 weeks later I have bought another zed, but this time a N/A SWB Manual.. It was something of an unexpected purchase, but saw it in the 'cars for sale' section on the forum, loved the look, and bought it from XCK1 (Cerina), who is a top girl, and went out of her way to deliver the car to me, for which I am very greatful.. hello people, First a bit of history, ive had a zed for a year and after 6months the rad burst, engine over heated and this caused the head gaskets to die, as i spent all my money on the car i couldntnt afford to get in fixed right away, its a uk spec twin turbo manual, 1992, It finally went to be fixed last week and ive just got it back, how ever, now its back i now have a couple of new problems and due to the mechanic taking on more than he thought he doesnt want to know now ive got it back, first problem, E,G,R? Hi all, just had the gearbox replaced on the zed due to the old one burning up, have got the new one guaranteed for 12,000 miles.. anyway the car still has some bits and pieces need sorting.. it has an oil leak at the back of the engine, and some waterleak somewhere at the front, also my heater blowes appear not to work.. what does this mean, that someone has bypassed the heater matrix?, also to sort out a leak at the back of the engine i had to remove one of the heating pipes as it was corroded and i made a gasket to block up this leak and seal it, which has knocked out my heating (although blowers do not work anyway), now my dilemma is.. is it going to be a better optio…

:confused: Sounds like water bubbling from a pipe, but all water levels are ok. When i open the drivers door the noise is more apparent as its coming from the air vent...The car is running fine. Any ideas? (TT manual. Uk.)

Well i wasn't going to post this up yet, but you know what it's like when you've got a new TOY. :hyper: :hyper: She's been a bit unloved i think but should soon sort that out. Collected her last night and was up this morning at 07.30 washing and a quick coat(and i do mean quick) of wax. Went back in to get camera and the heaven's opened, :headvswal but still don't think the pic's are too bad of her. Wont be on the road for a while :( .
