Slightly delayed my order with Image just to make sure my alloys sold ok. Now they have I'm ready to go ahead, so just need to choose between my favorite four. See what you think. One of them looks almost identical to the Trafficstars I've just sold, but the good thing is I can now have them not just in a bigger width fitment but custom made so the centre is recessed as far back to the hub as possible to create a huge dish. (two below are the same but can be used with or without the locking plate which changes the look of them)

The one inisde the drivers footwell, it's all very wet in there and the connectors had water dripping out of them when I pulled them apart. Is this likely to be coming in through the scuttle somewhere or windscreen or is there another likely reason? anyone had a similar problem before. The long story ........... I found the problem because my battery kept going flat after a few days, it was fine if I drove it every day. Anyway I did a bit of experimenting and thought I had an altenator fault, but my multimeter told me a different story. Battey was 12V and altenator was charging at 14.3V when the engine was running. So I turned everything off and checked to see h…

Do these have to be replaced in pairs? I think my passenger side rear one is starting to grumble. I have looked on here quite a bit, and can't see a fitting guide. Does anyone have one?

So is it likely a pipe wasn't tight enough? any ideas? iv had to leave her at a mates untill untill next week, then i will get her moved to my house and start looking at what the problem is. Any ideas will be much appreciated

Well i thought it would be a good idea to call the mechanic today to see if we needed any more parts and he said oh glad you called need to get rid of the car as the misses is getting on at him as it's sitting in the front garden, so i now have to find some where to store it until he needs it again and i have to hire a trailer or something to move it both ways. When is it all going to be over??? Hope it's all worth it in the end!! Being realistic i doubt it will be ready for at least 4 months if that.

Thinking of getting an orbital buffer and claybar to get rid of fine swirls etc. anyone recommend a good one but not too expensive :) I bought one of them £15 ones from B&Q - total toss Thinking its gonna cost more like £50. Im new to all this super polished look - always just washed car and put some wax on when its warm :) Now I wanna get a deep shine - I hear meguiars is good - I have some carnuba wax of theirs but when I tried it it made no difference - Ive tried black T-Cut but that didnt work either. I was gonna try a claybar and then use a buffer on it.

UK TT MANUAL. when i have been on a drive and leave the car parked when i go back to the car and touch the gear knob it feels quite warm. The knob is alloy so i guess it is conducting the heat up from the hot gearbox fluid that is kept cool when the car is moving but cant release this heat when stationary. Is this anything to worry about? should the gearbox fluid be getting that hot? would a transmission fluid change solve this (dont know when it was last done as only bought the car last year)?

Last night i drove through some water, stupid i know but all the roads were flooded so i had no other choice. it cut out in the water, so i pushed it out, went back this morning and it wont start. its got a blitz stillen air filter on it!! the rac man took the plugs out and turned it over, water shot out of 1 port at the back. it then ran but cut out again. he said the inter cooler would have dragged more water up. so he disconnected the inter cooler and took the plugs of again. this time water shot out of 3 ports than made a funny noise! it wont run and he said the water has got past the pistons. any help or advise would be graetfully recived, or has anyb…

Morning i had a flat, so filled up at tesco but when doing it realised the rear 2 were just as bad. Not sure if the rears are punctures yet or were just flat. Well anyway, what wheels fit a 98 Almera?? it's a 4 stud. I'll just change the wheels rather than buying 3 new tyres probably be cheaper.
