My car arrives next week and I need to confirm a couple of things that I've absent mindedly forgotten about. 1. Car Tax - How much is this gonna cost me? 2. Vehicle registration - How much is this gonna cost me? 2b. What Post office form do I need to complete for this The car should be delivered next Wednesday...

Although it shuts water tight there is a at least 3mm play in the boot lid when its shut. I'm sure this can't be right. Do i just need to tighten up an adjustment on the boot latch???

i have a non turbo which i belive to be restricted to 112mph, i have since brought the rev delimiter to fit behind the clocks so as the clocks will then be changed to mph the question is , if i buy a set of original clocks for a non turbo with 300 kmh on them will this do the same job as the delimiter , as in the car will have better performance i really need kmh instead of mph the clocks i have r jap import and only go to 180 kmh thanx

Hi There We have just had a customers tubs rebuilt with 360 bearings by Midland Turbos adn what a FANTASTIC job they did. They look like new. We went to order the required gaskets from Nissan and nearly fell over. Where is the best place toget all the turbo manifold gaskets etc at a sensible price ? thanks

I am interested in this 300ZX purple from japcity through Kent terry, love the car but only thing is I wanted it with no back spoiler,,some Z´s came without it..my question is..is it possibly to remove the back spoiler without damaging paint? I mean is it attached part of the back? or is it just pop inn and take out easily?? what is the good thing about the back spoiler anyway's?? what is the difference between the ones who came with back spoiler and none?? anyway´s please let me know also what could be a good alarm I could install on the car? any advices suggestions?? I'm looking at a set of 18" alloys for the zed, they come with an offset of ET42 .. Is it just a case of having to fit 7mm spacers all round to make up the offset to ET35,, or is it a bit more complicated than that?? Right ive been told my rear inner rack joint ball joints has slight play, what i want to know is im going to get the hicas elminator bar from zcentre will this help eliminate the ball joint problem or will i have to still get this replaced as well. Bare in mind im not mechanically minded. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi, My Zed has been keeped away in my garage all winter and its time to get her out. I have started the car twice a month just to keep things going ect. The advise I need is what should I get done before driving it for the summer, do you think I need a service, oil, filter ect ect? Thanks Matt

Had a little play with a scooby sti tonight and I can't get over how shite my brakes are. I know this is the case with most 300zx's. On previous cars such as my S14a I've had brembo discs, ds2500 pads and goodridge lines. This setup seemed to work well. Where is the cheapest place to buy them for the zed?

my heater blower has stopped blowing a couple of days ago. iv checked the fuses and the air con relay. has any one had the same problem or got any ideas? many thanks Nick

I've just bought a set of UK wheels with "nearly new" tyres but one of the rear KUMHO ECSTA tyres is not even legal. I want to fit tyres that will do a decent mileage but most of the threads I have searched only seem to recommend soft rubber performance tyres (which have relatively low mileage??) rather than general all weather hard rubber tyres (that have high mileage??). I don't want to pay Michelin prices, although they have given excellent mileage on previous cars I've owned, I only want to pay budget prices. Can anyone please advise me of suitable tyres?
