Courtesy Nissan have quoted a shipping price for their 'new from factorymanual gearbox priced at $1935.95 with the uprated internals'! They say they can ship it to me for $700 which gives a grand total of $2635.35. At the current exchange rate this equates to £1,363.56... What to you reckon the import tax will be? Do you reckon it would be worth the money? Is there any difference in the box from a US z to a UK/JDM z? Joel.

I noticed that my Zed was overboosting on the way up to the Pod yesterday. In 5th gear I was getting max boost readings of 19psi!!! I have a greddy profec b spec 2 and until yesterday this would not boost over about 17psi. I have not changed these settings since it was installed. I am going to check for any loose tubing as I know this could cause it. Is it possible that my wastegate is stuck in a shut position? What else could cause this? Thanks, Mike... P.S. I think this is why I got some quite impressive 1/4 mile times! LOL

Well I turned up to the warm up meet of the Zclub drag challenge yesterday. It was my first time up at the Pod but I think I did OK. My best time was 13.68 seconds and my best reaction time was 0.4 seconds. Think you can beat these times? Well get yourself up the Pod for the 1st qualifying event on the 1st April...

guys im at my whits end :headvswal just done the led conversion looks great, everything worked fine, then did the ignition barrel led & i accidently shorted the circuit now none of the illumination lights work on the dash!! i have checked every fuse with a tester & they are all fine!! all headlight work fine side & dim & dip what on earth could it be?? quick guys before i pull my hair out :D :D any help greatly appreceated

I bought and installed two fuel hoses at 10mm size under the plastic cover on the pressure regulator. Just read that it is supposed to be 8mm size. Do I need to change to 8mm or is it fine with 10mm??

Hello all, I have just tryed to do a diognostic test on my 91 uk spec tt I went through the sequence a few times but nothing happends? no lights no nothing? where and when should the lights flash? Just also done an ECU test and that came back code 55 which is fine. can anyone tell me why this does not work? and where the lights would flash?? Cheers in advance!!

I am in the process of doing Zed research with a view to buying. The MPG situation however has me confused. I am looking fot a TT but peoples claimed mpg seem to vary enormously, from 13 - 25 combined. Can anyone tell me their calculated mpg over a good length of time for a stock engine. I currently get 30 in the bmw and i have a figure in my mind, below which i just cant do it, My fingers are crossed.

Does anyone know if I can get an orange light to come through a zx red rear light strip?? (red brake light lense) I was sat behind a Merc this morning and noticed it had a flashing amber light coming from a red lense! Wasn't sure if it was a special lense or not. Cheers in advance, Andy

I've got a weepy power steering pipe return - its weeping a little bit where it comes back into the resevoir and no matter what I do I cant sto pit - so my solution is to find a 10mm pipe joiner and cut the pipe and fit a new length of pipe on and see if that cures it - problem is I need a joiner quick - today really and live near Southport and Preston....Anyone got any ideas? Theres no way I can get the pipe off the resevoir without dismantling the resevoir - I'll have to cut it using a stanley knife..... Demon Tweeks have them so if no-one else has any ideas I'll have to make a detour and go there.... Cheers for any help!!

so many good/decent example selling for well less than 3k on ebay and here, its a real shame as they are a future classic the market seems to be very strange as the prices range from 2k to 6k in autotrader where some of the cheaper one are just as good as the dearer ones

I have no idea why but when i open a page from the TTZD site it loads the page and loads the page again adding a 2nd left hand menu screen then reloads the page again with another left hand menu screen... it continues to do this until the screen is taken over by this menu and i can no longer even see the article... havent had any probs with any other urls that i have tried... any ideas?

ok gents this is for the techies :dance: right then my uk auto zed has a new engine fitted but it is a manual engine, im still using the same ecu with a dixons chip, nothing wild :smash: i have just read this & it got me thinking :rolleyes: "Aside from minor changes in the ECU, the cam profiles & turbos are also different between the M/T & A/T models. The A/T has 240 degree intake cams & 248 degree exhaust cams (the M/T has 248 degree cams for both intake & exhaust). I'm in the "will I or won't I sell it" stage which im sure a lot of you have gone through. Main reason is business has been quiet since january and it's putting a strain on the finances bigtime. I guess it will work itself out later in the year but for now my family come first. But jesus I LOVE this car so much it would be heartbreaking to sell it. gents i have a uk spec tt zed & the rad top plastic out hose has snapped :headvswal so i have a jap spec tt auto rad spare at home but the autobox pipework is different :smash: please can someone tell me why the uk has 4 small pipes coming out of it when the jap spec only has 2?? am i able to fit an auto jap rad in my uk auto zed using an extra oil cooler?? any help much appreceated :cool:
