Jesus my car was heavy on petrol, but now since knockin the boost up and stickin a scorpion on its fuukin seriously heavy. the exhausts are black and sooty now and there is a puff of grey/black smoke when boosting heavy. thing is im runnin the car with the orig superchip that i found in the ecu, and the general opinion is that superchips are crap and will not fuel for high boost. so why the excessive fuel consumption and sooty exhausts?

Hi Guys Can Anyone Help Me, My Z Had A Starting Prob Turne Out To Be The Earth Trigger From Ecu Not Sending Signal To Ign Coil Relay, But It Sorted It Self Out, Now The When I Take The Key Out Of Ingition Car Switches Off, But My Apexi Units And Ecu Stay On, But B4 They Use To Switch Off, Also My Engin Management Light Does Not Come On The Dash Any More!! Also I Need To Floor The Accelarator Pedle To Get Car Started When It Does Its Rough Takes A Few Min To Smooth Out Any Ideas On That? Any Help Would Be Appreciated.

I have just been trying to get the oil pressure gauge to work but can't seem to do so, the diagram shows 4 wires but my cable has 5 and it don't work propperly. Any help would be great.

Hi all, I am venturing under the z tomorrow to see if I can find a reason for my clutch riding (sticky linkage perhaps) before I commit to a clutch change. I wondered if anyone had any top tips of places to check? Cheers Rob :cry:

Is it an easy job to wire my headlights so as the low beam stays on when the main beam is switched on? I could just wire it so it works but would I have to wire any more relays or anything into the circuit? Someone said I would have to use heavier duty wires? Thanks Vini

just changed my gear oil to mt-90. makes a huge difference adn the crunching into 4th under load has almost gone altogether. general gear changes are much smoother too. really happy with it now :D

Any ideas on why the import insurance is dearer conidering extra saftey stuff the imports have ie, engine speed limited, boing at speeds to warn drivers, boing when in reverse. Are the cars not the same otherwise really? Cheers, Michael

Has anyone removed the cloth stuff under the bonnet? Think it's for keeping the heat away from the paint work but not sure, mine cloth is a mess and would like to remove it but don't want my paint to come off aswell :nono: . Cheers in advance

My zed hasnt been driven for a while about a month actually, this was due to a few things, most serious I found was one of the lower arms where the tension rods bolt on was seriously cracked and hence when i took the TR off the bloody thing fell apart ( will post some pics). Any way now, started no probs but noticed water dripping ( not engine coolant) from the front lower edge passenger side wheel arch, its where the front bumper screws into that like plastic pan just underneath the front edge ???? the car hold temperature ok, but thats only idle, havent driven it as shocks are knackered, also got dampness in the passy footwell, i know one of the door seals has a leak, b…

I Had New Manifolds And Down Pipes Fitted On My 91 300 Non Turbo But When I Came To Get It From The Garage That Done The Work I Found Pipes Hanging From Under The Car Up Near The Engine Which Were Then Cut Off. I Was Told They Went From The Engine To The Exhausts On Either Side And Now That Their Gone The Car's Been Getting Worse By The Day And It Wont Sit Idle And Keeps Losing Power When Im Driving. After A While It Takes Off But Still Chugs And Spluters Every So Often. Why Is My Baby Not Well And Is It Going To Be Exspensive To Fix? Plz Help Me As Im Going Mad And All Out Of Ideas, Its Up For Mot On Fri Aswell. Cheers Yall.

anyone got and set the apexi twin chamber bovs? just fitted mine and the screw is 10mm from the top off the 12mm lock nut and boost response seems lazy is this good or bad? whats best for the turbos? also what size hole is the best setting out of the 3? adam

Reversing out a carpark today , which was fine when i parked it, but a van and a people carrier had me sandwiched in when i got back with my chinese and dvd. Pissing rain, windows fogged up, you know the story. Well, after a 1000 mile road trip and 30 hours Im home with my New toy. HUGE THANKS to Paul@SWZ who took me to collect it all the way from Somerset to Glasgow !! Left 1pm Saturday and got home at 7pm Sunday. Just under 1000 miles and did'nt see a single other zed (except a couple of 350z's).
