Hello All. Well got my zed back on the road yesterday after suspension probs, anyway she was fine no probs at all however, got back home. after an hour or so went to go back out, started her no probs, but when rving her up it feels like the engine is unbalanced like the bloody engine is shaking. when you rev her its rubbish ( hesitant) like shes not firing properly after 3000rpm she goes ok. then when you go in gear ar idle and it feels as if she wants to die on me. any ideas??? I hoping fuel filter spark plugs or something like that. will do a ecu check in a minute and see if that turns anything up. Cheers Dutchy

just wondering if anyone has swapped the original gauge cluster for aftermarket gauges im getting an oil pressure, water temp and boost gauge fitted to the pillar so was thinkin of maybe getting a custom setup where the old ones were with speedo, rev counter ect just wondered how easy it would be

Just been on holiday in Torquay, on my way back saw a blue fairlady approx 1991, (i think) heading North on the M5 just past Bristol, i was in my lady's white Kia Sportage. Did'nt try to keep up.

Hi Could Anyone Please Post A Pic Of The Loom Going Into There Ignition Barrel I Think I Have It Right However There Is Nothing Happening When I Turn The Key? Need To Verify That The Wires Are Position On The Pins Correctly. Or Give Me Some Advice On What Else Would Cause This Problem. No Lights Come On The Dash When Key Is Turned. The Battery Is Fully Charged By The Way. The Head Lights Come On.

I've been lookin through some old posts but i cant find the 1 i want i'm lookin for a t-piece for the hard pies that go to the throttle bodys so i can fit the dump valves properlyi think its a proper nissan part but not sure any help would be great cheers all

Have sussed out what's wrong with the Z!-It's 'The curse of the Black Pearl!' LOL! Well done the water pump and changed the n/s/r wheel bearing today,if owt' else goes, then IT does! :D

Hey there, another question for the mechanics among you..........I decided to have a look at the air filter that the previous owner had put on to see what it was today, then i wish i hadnt of looked :slap: First, i found that the HKS filter, had no filter in it........So need a new induction kit now :headvswal Secondly........where the wire (presumably from the ecu) plugs into the AFM, there is an orange wire dangling..... Any help on the second problem there? The first one only involves more money to be spent......

hi i have my 91ttjspec booked in at thor racing and they will do a oil cahnge and a power run for me the bloke who i spoke to said they use 10/40 semi synth is that ok for the only mods that i know of are cat back stailess steel and k&n induction kit also does anyone know what sort of bhp and torque i should get from the rollers cheers

Hi guys, Just installed hks tt & it will not release key until timer has counted down.... defeats the whole purpose of having 1 lol... can i release the key lock if so how cheers for any help ;)

hi guys, im trying to find some turbos for my zed, the problem is that i have brought some form a nissan skyline r33 gtr, they are t28's, after being told they will fit, i tried this morning and they dont, Im after some to give me 400 - 500bhp without pushing them to the limit, any ideas where i can get a pair or do any of you know what series i need to look for? Also ive just put an up rated fuel pump and filter, ARC induction box, G reddy front mount, G reddy ultimate ecu, up rated spark plugs, injectors and oil cooler on the car, is there anything else you guys can suggest as well as the turbos to get the bhp up a bit? :confused:

So as I will be selling mine soon I was wondering as to how well they are selling, I mean there seems to be lots for sale right now (as there would be just to piss me off) so do they sit for months or do they sell fast. Whats your experience.

Need some advice as I want to increase the performance of my zed. It is a 1990 jap spec manual conversion TT. I have just bought a boost controller but not yet fitted. The car has an induction kit, still has the cats and what looks like a mongoose cat back system fitted (twin pipe b/boxes). My questions are - what boost is safe for my set up?, what chip would anyone recommend, how much is it likely to cost and where will I get one? Also, what power increase am I likely to get and will it drastically increase fuel consumption? Any advice apreciated.

Can anyone who has moved there seatbelts from the doors to the B-Pillars (ie From Jap series 1 to UK or Jap series 2 onwards style) tell me what they did about the missing nut/thread for the top hole ? All the rest of the fitment holes and threads are in place but the top bolt hole in the B-pillar is missing the thread, its just a hole in the thin metal frame.

Well got my Z back 5pm today, been driving her till now, manual conversion done !!! Forgot how good she was, & all the looks you get ;) very slight vibration at 35/40 will sort asap but im made up to have her back its been to loooooong :D

Well today i was all chuffed as i was a step closer to getting the engine built. but..... when i picked the bits up from the engine shop they said, we just nipped the crank when we were grinding the edges down to knife edge, they said nothing to worry about purely cosmetic. Well at least they were honest and told me that had down it. Well anyway gave the crank to Mark the mechanic building the engine and his response was "well that's ****ed!" Mark explained why, the nick was on the main Bearing jurnoul. Not only that but it was really rough as if they sanded it with sand paper.

Lost my rear fog switch for my jap zed, argh! Just before MOT as well. I am now not sure what connections go into the switch. I will get another from Maplins tomorrow. Is the switch regular spade connectors or is it a fancy nissan connector? Need to know wiring colours as i did try a switch which blew a fuse, duh!
