heavy steering, all the time,any ideas please

I followed a red 300zx with a body kit and gold rims up Ipswich Road and onto Whitehall Ind Estate on tues nd. Was it you?

How much does it cost (roughly) to have one Front seat re-trimmed in black leather? The steering wheel retrimmed? and the doorcards,arm rest etc trimmed in either alcantara or leather? Thanks in advance

I'm thinking about changing from TT to NA (changing cars, that is, not a conversion :D ). Most of my driving is daily commute in traffic jams so the TTs are a bit wasted. Main reason is greater practicality as a daily driver (I do about 12,000m a year). Against that is the big grin factor on the rare occasions when I do get a chance to use the loud pedal :hyper: . Not interested in mods - just good clean as-stock-as-possible. Had some good thoughts at the other place, wondered what you guys thought?

heard a loud BANG tonight, ironicaly about 2 minutes after passing Carl. drives fine and wasnt teh engine. untill about 5 minutes later and 1st gear sounds like its got a cat stuck in there. and while i am reversing I can feel like what can on;y be described as the ABS working through the brake pedal. will investigate 1st thing tomro

Hey guys I'm picking up my zed tomorrow and im not sure of the last time it was serviced. I'm was looking around on the net for a new set of spark plugs. I found 6x HKS plugs for £80 including delivery..............wots everyone's thoughts? Is that expensive? Could anymore recommend a cheaper alternative???

just been out showing off my new zed, when on my way home all the lights came on on he dash .....battery light, lights lamp, abs , plus diff and trans lights .. they then went off then came on dim then came on bright , the battery light stayed dim, also last week the battery light came on dim then went off untill today . anyone any ideas , is it an earth or is it the alternator problem.. please help ..i need to get back to blowing off scoobies thanks ronnie

i know its a bit late but ive changed my engine oil today and replaced it with castrol gtx 10/40 which was advised by my local auto care is this oil ok peeps :confused:

Im going to sell me 300zx to get a swb version and was just wondering what mine is worth.. Its a RED 1992 manual tt fairlady av to good bodywork av leather int. spec is... full twin 5zigen exhaust (5inch) with de-cats, Blitz ind, 0.9 bar with boost jets, Andy p chip, Monster osgiken TRIPLE plate clutch with 70k miles. Oh cambelt recently done and it comes with r32 gtr wheels and koni adjustible suspension. Evrything works perfectly. :p

just wondering how easy it is to install aftermarket water temp, oil pressure and boost gauges?

I have posted this request before for advice before but can't remember the advice or locate the old thread :rolleyes: :slap: and i really need to get it sorted as the broken one is a bit of an eye sore now! Anyway, any ideas where i'll be able to locate a replacement for my aftermarket front fog, have tried usual aftermarket shops but no joy in the finding size (4 and half inches / 11.4cm) see pic below. Either a replacement or similar pair of the same size.... Any suggestions or help great received :bow: Also see close up pics in thread below, thanks.

It needs wiring in :D An opening approx approx 6.5cm x 3.5cm needs to be made for it :D :D The pic attached shows the box it comes in :D :D

This morning my oil pressure gauge was acting weird. Everytime I was turning right the pressure increase to 120 psi, when I was turning left it was decreasing to 30 psi. In straight line it was varing from 50-100 psi Usually it indicated between 20-70 psi. Should I be worried??? Anyone have experience someting similar???

just finally got the car to the way i want it after paying £750 on repairs and today on the way to work some ***t hits the side of the car as i was leaving a island, i was on the outside lane leaving the island with the indicator on as the chap on the inside turned into the side of me, at this point i was on the duel carrageway so i could stop so pulled over, as i looked in my mirror he was driving off grrr, turned around asap but he was gone when i got back, didnt see his reg, very p****d off, atleast most of it polished out just got a nice dent on the door and dogleg Regards andy

Hi all, i have been thinking of getting one for a while now. i have owned a few 200sx's and a few mr2 turbo's but i always wanted a 300zx twin turbo only problem is that i have jusr bought a house with my girlfriend. i was wondering what the average mpg is and any other running cost for them? insurance is dirt cheap @ £370 a year fully comp for me and the missis. i wont use it through the week as i have a r6 for the work commute all help and advise would be great thanks. Ive got my carputer base ( :bow: Legrath :bow: ) all ready to go in the zed but dont have a screen yet. I know they had some double din fascias like legraths set up in japan so it wouldnt need all the cutting out and fibreglassing to size but i cant read japanese and cant really wait 3mths for it to arrive so am looking for some ideas rather then a standard motorized single din jobbie. Any one have a modded fascia or know of a slot in type screen that will fit? Pictures or advise would be great please! Also any good recomendations for a VGA screen please :) Cheers
