Right I bought the decat kit from 2fast2cool, very impressed with the quality. On the other hand I am not impressed with Nissan and there shity positioning of bolts on the elbows. Have managed to to do the passenger side, apart from the little heat shield bolt which has rounded (waiting for the wife to come home so I can to B&Q for more dremel bits) How the hell do I do the top 2 bolts on the drivers side while the car is on axle stands? was going to leave them but since all six of the studs that hold the cats on decided to shear I am kind of comitted. Also I really need the car for Thursday as I have 2 Job Interviews. Anyone done this without drop…

Hi Guys (& girls), I have been experiencing some very strange symptoms when messing with my boost controller. Basically, it is overboosting when the EBC is on. I have fiddled with all of the settings and have even had an expert play with it as well (you know who you are!). This has led me to think that maybe one of the wastegate actuators could be sticking. However, when I turn the EBC off I get the normal 7psi safety boost. This doesn't make sense to me as I would imagine if it was a sticky wastegate then the pressure would not stop at 7psi and it could overboost regardless of whether the EBC is on or not. The final…

ive had this on my watch list for a few days. i would like to know if this one is suitable for my zed, is it a good price ?. i have been offered cheaper ones but the way i look at it, i would rather pay more now for a good top spec one than have to buy a cheaper one only to have to upgrade it at a later stage. what do you think ? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=280116299115&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=018

Bought a single piece prop from Z1 and fitted it over the weekend. All looks ok but somethings not right as at 60mph it drones something awful - and it increases with speed. I've checked everything, rotated the diff connection through 180 degrees and even raised the new(ish) rear gearbox mount in case it was sagging - but all to no avail. So, a couple of questions - do I need to ballance the shaft - jubilee clips etc - or am I missing something? Any advice much appreciated. The new one piece prop is steel and the cars a 97NA 2+2. The old prop was unbelieveably notchy especially at the diff end - and the centre bearing looked ok but had a lot of p…

Changing over the stock T/T front bumper for an aftermarket one, as well as doing the timing belt, water pump etc. So as the front end will be in bits anyways, was wondering this. Would leaving off the underneath engine trays help in cooling at all ? Maybe let the air flow around more, or are they better re-installed ? Just a thought ? ;) Alan....

Im looking to change mine and am looking for some ideas on how to do it please :) This is what mine looks like at the moment but i dont want to lose the whole boot like I have at the moment and also going to bin the 6x9"s Im losing a lot of bass through the amount of air under the fake floor so will either put them by the inner wheel linings on a frame or just lower the floor and box them under. Any pictures would be great :) Thanks a million
