Hi all , new to here as ive just gone and treated myself to a 300zx (jap import) after moving up in the world from my old beloved 200sx (s13) after it finally blew up :(. When i bought it i found that the front brakes were really making a high pitch noise when braking normally to stop around town which was turning peoples heads for the wrong reason :(. I was told it had hardened pads on it by the bloke i bought it from, so a friend of mine advised me to go back to standard pads cos they are softer and will stop noise. I had the softer pads put on last monday and at first they were fine- no more squealing, but since then they have got progessively worse and are back t…

as above i fitted my rear kybs yesterday, i thought it was a right dog of a job, having to take out almost all the boot trim just to get to two little nuts what a joke, then trying to get them back in, because of the spring compressors it was like the bloody kripton factor to manoever them about to refit them, why oh why isnt there a door in the trim to get at the top nuts??? needless to say there is on mine now the old jigsaw and abit of steel mesh, bloody japanese.

Long story..... ;) I was driving home along the High Street here in town this evening, and I saw a cop car across the entrance to a one way road. Now he was pointing out of this one way road, in the wrong direction, which was a bit naughty to start with, and I'm sure he would of booked anyone else doing it ;) Anyway, I thought I'd do the polite thing and let him out, so i flashed to him, but instead of pulling out, he motioned, with his hand, for me to continue past him anyway (ungrateful git!!) so I did, and as soon as i passed him he pulled out behind me, followed me past a car parked on the path ( a Ferrari 360) and then put his blue lights on!! He wanted me to pu…

Can anybody shed any light where this pipe goes to, or comes from ?? 89, T/T, Pipe comes from a small actuator type thingy up in the drivers side, rear of the engine bay, near the bulklhead. When engine is switched off it hisses for a good 5 secs and then dies. Engine appears to be a little uneven as well, connected ?? Gave the engine bay a wee clean up, so would assume I knocked it off perhaps. Alan...............

I am looking at the Demon Tweeks Anti-Roll Bars and they only come in a 27mm front adjustable not 32mm which I was looking for would there be much of a difference between the two sizes as far as road holding?? Or would the 27mm be fine? Cheers http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?cls=MSPORT&pcode=WHIBDF1

Only had a zed now for about 3 months and its my first, needless to say the car has me hooked, anyways i really want to start chasing big horsepower, so ive been puting the building blocks in place ie.. just making sure the car runs perfect as it should, right so i think forging the engine would be a good move yes, so what size piston do i need to get??? will it be relative to any liner wear i have??? or will 87.5 be the one to go for??? Cheers guys

I've got one of SE's HICAS eliminators to fit but there's a nut missing and after lots of searching I've worked out it's an M12 x1mm thread but I can't find one anywhere  Found a few with a larger/coarser thread but not 1mm. Anyone got one knocking about?
