I've been informed there's a someone who brakes zed's for parts in Leatherhead does any one know if that's correct and if so what he's called, or have telephone number for them? Only I'm after a heater matrix and a friend is also after some good seconden hand Zed parts Thanks for your help Eileen

ime hoping to pick up some 17" volks on sunday and want to know is it possible to get tires with a 40 section on the fronts to match the rear 40,s instead of 45 as per the norm???? please dont come back with a quantum phiysics equation about rolling radius e.c.t :rofl: just need to know are these obtainable cheers

I saw a swb zed today in a breakers yard , front damage still got a few good parts on silver leather seats with zed logo on big rear spoiler brakes etc its in colchester essex if anyone needs any bits .GaL autos the hythe quay.Its reg is WAX last 3 numbers on the plate and its black i dont know if its known to the club or not.

hi guys had a few problems with my car water leaks galore picked a tt rad cheap enough but car is an Na, i know i need new top mounts for the rad but whats the best way of moding the lower brackets to support the tt rad cheers guys

Hey people im new here. Basically i might be buying a 300zx soon and want to know abit about them. Its basically between an s13 200sx or a Uk n/a manual 300zx! I know plenty about the 200sx but not much about the 300zx. So... If i go for a 300zx ill be after 1993-1995 Uk n/a Manual Targa Top 300zx (what a mouthful!!) so how much would i need to spend for a clean one, i was hoping to spend no more than £3000, will this fecth anything worth wile? How does the n/a perfrom? i cant find performance figures online: 0-60mph times? BHP? Weight? Top Speed? Insurance Group? MPG? Any other advice is much appreciated! Thanks

I need to change my rear brake lines. From the rear wheel and up to the trunk. Is it possible to get piping that are bent and ready for instalation? Or do I need to bend them myself??

anybody know where the bleed screws are? everything i've read says use them bot does'nt say where they are as i have done a coolant change and want to make sure all the air is out ;) cheers pete

I thought that I had seen something about this the other week but can't find now, so apologies if this has been covered previously. I have had my Zed less than a month and this week I did a simple fuel consumption test. I filled up the tank and then set the tripometer to Zero. Tonight I filled the tank and it took 37 litres (8.23 Gallons) to fill it, while the tripometer showed 104 (I am presuming that these are KM as it is an import) which is 64.59 miles. This that means that the car is doing about 8 miles to the gallon!!!!!!!. Any suggestions of what can cause this level of fuel consumption

just fitted my first bit of bling to my engine bay :D BMC brace (thanks topless :D) it does make a noticeable difference to the braking but most of all it looks cool.

went for a blast in the zed today with the tops off. first time this year :hyper: sounds so good especially with the exhaust noise bouncing off walls etc.

how much are they normally?

i payed a visit to tony c the other night hes a real nice guy and knows his stuff on zeds he told me i had a loose connector that was makin a misfire he told me how to clean the conn up but it looks a lot harder than he said cause i really aint no good with engines and im heavy handed shall i have a go anyway or try and get a mech to do it i just spoke to one and he said it was too delicate and i should leave it alone

1990 NA auto Not sure if these are all connected? The aircon has always been a little tempremental. Dried out all electrics and changed aircon dash console, which seemed to do the trick, but today I noticed no aircon. It comes back on if I hit a bump brake? Also if I turn the ignition on (no aircon) press brake pedal relay clicks to release auto gearlever and aircon activates. Also the alternator is boiling battery, I can measure constant 10A but anything from 14.6 to 16.6 volts. There has been an intermittent belt squeel. This lunchtime I have tightened the aircon and alternator belts, but :confused: there still seems to be a high pitched scream on bringing up …

Seven Months after I rebuilt this Engine and i get a Miss on number 5 and low compression reading of (Zero) :cry: and number 3 cylinder reads 115psi due to strangely a head bolt between 3 and 5 cylinder working loose? So whats wrong with this picture?? I don't think its PTU or Coilpack related :D The last picture is an example of how much room there is when you remove the passenger side head while in situ! Great i can easily get to those gearbox bolts now! :rofl: I started stripping down at 9:30am and was finished by 5pm ready to have my tea Lol! Everything that was removed would have had to have been removed regardless of whether the Engine was removed or not!…

Blimey it feels strange to be posting back here :D Anyway I dont have my zed anymore but the old man does, it just stopped on him last night and the wouldnt restart. From memory and a quick flick around here it seems to fit with a PTU failure. All the auxiliary belts are turning when the ignition turns so engine seems to be turning over freely, just wont start. Not had a chance to look at it in detail but any advice on things to check would be great. Cheers Glyn ex 95 TT
