When I depress my brake pedal, the button on the side of the shifter doesn't release, what would cause this? As it's most annoying having to try and press the front one down.

Where can i get one from? I keep finding loads but none of them are for the right model they have extra warning lights etc. on them. How ever i did order one from 1 company in the states and specified the carbon fibre option and it come in alluminium which is not what i'm after. I tried to trim it myself with film but not as easy as it looks, i kept getting bubbles in places and not straight edges, now it looks a real dog when removed as you can see the scalpal marks.

ive searched for hours and cant find much, so here goes. its a 92 j spec tt, has boost jets and chip, runs well under normal driving or if i build the revs up to 3-4k and then floor it, but if i floor it from under 3k its holding back alot! both boost gauges stay constant (0.9 bar) plus ive done a leak test, all filters and plugs changed, cleaned elec conectors afew times, decated it and by passed the carbon canister, i cant think of anythin else to try to stop it holding back under full throttle, but even when i let the revs build it still doesnt go as well as it should. any sugestions???

Was their recently a post about a American company making these? if so, could i have the link please, i've tried searching but can't find it. Apparently there was some talk about these and the company fairly recently. Thanking you.

BIG PROBLEMS! To give background i had a long journey in the car last night from london to derby and back. It was very wet if that makes a difference but when i went back to the car this lunchtime, a good 11 hours since the journey, it didnt start. I turn the key and it gives a couple of normal turning over chugs and then CLUNK. sort of similar to when you start the car in gear but different slightly and the car wasnt in gear. Tried again. CLUNK. Tried again. CLUNK. Went to look under the bonnet and noticed that where i hadnt secured one side of the upper fan shroud it had obviously come into contact with the viscous fan and it had destroyed a small …

Is there a temp gauge that you can buy that will use the standard temp sensor already plumbed into the hard pipe - or is there one that comes with a new sensor that can replace the stock sensor without drilling etc? I'd like to see what my water temp is 'really' like while I'm driving... Ta.

Hi people Just changing the brake fluid and water today, done the brakes but just want to ask some advice on bleeding the radiator! So whats the sequence i need to go through or is it just a mater of slowly filling up the radiator with her running? Brett

There's very few aftermarket front bumpers that I like. I can't afford an IMPUL front bumper...even if I could get hold one one...etc 99-spec is nice, but unsure of the large apperture. I find the lines of the older bumper a bit more inkeeping with the time...if that makes sense. So almost ruled out that option. So I'm considering either the Stillen type 3 bumper extension, but with a modification to it so it doesn't sit flush with the top edge of the swage line as you'll loose the pin stripe. Either that or considering the Aeromaster front bumper extension. Just wondering people's thoughts on this.

ever since I got my chip and boost jets fitted last week i find myself asking the mrs every ten minutes "you sure you're ok for fags love?" or "i need some more weedkiller, i'm off to homebase" or "better make sure we've got milk for the kids in the morning".....lol it's like driving a new car. I must have been on safety boost or something. Tried to count 0-60 today fumbling with my mobile phone stopwatch, felt like 2 seconds , (impossible to do on your own BTW), .................oh well think i need to grow up now :D

could antone tell me what the above does and what benefits you get from fitting these injector mods???? im confused
