hey got a question about the molding between the door and window. are they attached with clips or something? because i think one of the clips must of broke off and now the far right part doesn't stay down where it should. now if these are really held down with clips are they replaceable? or would i just have to put a drop of some power glue underneath it to keep it in place?

In general (not just Zeds).. If you want firmer suspension and it's fully adjustable... You increase spring preload, you increase compression damping and you DECREASE rebound damping.... right? Or do you increase rebound damping?

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD :nana2: it's like a different car completely. apart from the extra boost it idles and sounds better. Only thing is the auto. it has never bothered me before, but now it seems to be lazy at changing 2-3rd.I'm sure i read the autobox has it's own ecu somewhere and that could be modified somehow to fall in line with the extra power? Boost jets are 1mm and It's boosting at around 12 psi, not crazy stuff I know but safe enough to live with.

Hi Everyone, I have got a imported Zed and it has not had the speedo converted and I assume the speed limit removed. The question is of I swap the Import speedo/clocks for UK ones, will this fix the KM/h to MPH? and If I take out the import ECU and swap it for a UK ECU will this remove the speed limit? Are there any issue with swaping the 2 ECUs though? Cheers, Michael

They in perfect condition thanks Tarn was very impressed with your Zed, The phone conversation when i rung her was Not hello how are you, She just said there fooking gorgous. I've not meet Steve myself yet but Tarn said you a top bloke oh and thanks for the tea. He let me take the wheels before the money cleared by bank trans due to my friend being down there at the time on the off chance. Nice for this to happen and put some faith back in the club after a few bad sales that have happened of late thanks graeme :duffer: when i see you mate!!!

after fitting a scorpion exhaust last night my car atarted to smoke out the drivers side, the car was already decatted. i think the reduction in backpressure has caused the seal to leak at tickover, when driving the car there is no smoke only on tickover, i decided to turn the revs up to 1200 to see if it still smoked and it stopped and hasnt smoked anymore. if i turn the revs back down to normal it starts to smoke again. i know this is not a fix but will have to do till i save for some hybrids. george thoughts.

hi guys im going to invest in water injection to help protect my engine! do i fit std water only setup which lowers combustion chamber temperatures and allow extra boost if required, or fit water/methanol injection! which obviously does the above and the additional methanol gives added octane rating (120 ron) and extra oxygen! giving abit more power without raising psi! i spoke to my rolling road expert who builds and races rally cars and he has suggest water only as meth power gain wasnt large and when he used on rally stage system pressure hose blew off and caused engine bay fire! trouble is methanol burns with no flames at all so can be very dangerous!!!!!! …

right you may recall a while ago I had issues with the back heated window... today since it was raining and my car was getting all steamy... (no funny business) i stuck the heated window thing on .... about 1 minute later i could smell this burning.. switched it off, turned around and looked at the window - the little element was red red hot... by the time I managed to turn around - huge bang ! Smashed rear window! If it wasnt for the tints it would of shattered everywhere!! anyway - anyone had to replace theirs... where did you get it and is it worth claiming.. I've phoned a few places and been quoted £1050 plus vat to remove and fit a new …

Is there anyone within an hours drive of Wantage oxfordshire that owns a conzult i could come over to use in exchange for a pint. ie Swindon, Oxford? Its just that my car is detting on 0.9 bar of boost and even a tad on stock boost with timing at 15 deg When running Higher boost the detting will only go away at 9 deg!!! Plugs and coils have been checked. Car is a 92 manual tt with DE- catted 5-zigen exhaust, boost jets, blitz ind kit, se chip (Andyp) :p and osgiken triple plate clutch. I have owned the car now for nearly two months and i did not notice any pinking when i bought it. HEELLLP ME PLEASE!. Muffin.

Well after much soul searching I have decided to go all out on a car that I have hankered after for years but has always been out of reach...pictures below! I know this won't go down well with everyone here, but you have to admit it looks slightly better than a standard one. Picking it up tomorrow. :hyper: Obviously this means that the Zed is for sale see here...at least I have a pretty obvious genuine reason for the sale!

I have a very odd situation. Let me start by saying I thought I was in safety boost as I was only boosting to 7psi. However ECU diagnostics ran all clear (55). As everyone knows in the Safety Boost scenario the ECU changes the fuelling maps and limits the boost levels. The Wastegate Solenoids do the boost limiting. Normally the ECU earths the circuit (through pin 25) in order to turn them on (normal boost), and 'floats' the earth in safety-boost to turn them off. They are "ON" (normal boost) when: - Engine is running - TPS voltage is above 0.1v - No Detonation - Coolant is above 55 degrees Now I have run Datascan and everything operates as it …

Hi all, My 300zx is running pretty rough. The idle has always been low and lumpy since i bought it a year ago. Last month the radiator went so i dropped it into nissan, while it was there i got them to do a service and look at the idle problem. They adjusted it up to about 850/900. It was fine for a day or so but now its worse than before. its ok on start up but after 5 mins of driving it is like its not firing on all cylinders. when driving at over 2500/3000 revs it runs perfectly. As soon as i coast or stop its rough again. This has all happened since nissan adjusted the idle. Ive got it booked into a pretty good tuning garage next thursday and would like some…
