:headvswal Hope you guys can give me some pointers here... Bought a front from a company called NMI styling. Fitment around the front lights is fine. But it's the side ends on the front that's the problem.. :headvswal Sticks out around 5cm on on side and 3 on the other side. I'm afraid that the one screw that hold the end in isn't enough. IF I can manage to press the side in.... Someone suggested to apply heat on the front under pressure. Not an expert on fiberglass. But can't see how that would help?? I would really appriciated any hints on what I could do in order to bend the front enough to make it fit....

Hi all Finally managed to do a boost leak check on the car and I seem to have a fairlybig one as above. Sounds like it's coming from around the battery area at the side of the engine. Think it's quite big cause by pump can't presurise the system at all. The air is just leaking straight out. Just wondering if there's a pipe round there that usually goes?? I can hear it but can't find it!!! :headvswal Any ideas would be appreciated!!

Insurance Database: There is a lot of talk all the time about insurance. But there are loads of random infos in lots of threads. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to start a list of our insurance quotes and companies, to help people when it gets to that time of year? Maybe we could get it stickied for reference? I'll start. Try to keep chatter out of it. 1) Olliezx, elephant.co.uk, £650 TPFT (22, 5yncb, Jap TT, countryside) 2) chutney, heritage.co.uk £485 FC (31 2 yrs ncb, jap TT auto...rural) 3) Naf68, UK TT auto, Hastings online, £280 TPFT full NCB, Watford 4) alex300, elephant, £550 TPFT (25, 4yrs ncb, jspec N/A, cambs, rural) 5) Skyl…

Being a bit of a noob to this insurance lark with Zs, I was wondering if anyone could give me a point and a push in the right direction. I had a very VERY good quote from elephant for a Z (£1300 for a uk spec manual twin turbo) despite me only being 20. Tried to do a Jspec one and it just lauged at me and said I had to be 21 to insure it. What I'm asking is, is there anyone under 21 who has insured a Jspec 300zx twin turbo? Which insurer did you get the policy from?

Was at Santa Pod last Saturday with my tt Z. Was about to get ready to pull off the line when one of the safety Inspectors spotted a leak under the car . Halted the run :nono: ... Damn. Later... Had a quick look under the car and there seemed to be water coming from somewhere where water usually doesn't exist in a Z. There is a pipe that points downwards (seems as designed that way), close to where the waste gate is on the tt models passenger side. Compared it with a NA Z (next car to buy on my list :D ) but the pipe is the same on it also.. but it wasn't pi**ing out - well dripping out water. So.. pipe that points down to the ground, Passenger s…

I have a slow oil leak. Having taken the downpipes off today I had a good view of the back of the engine and noticed it seems to be originating from my NS vvt solenoid. I had previosly thought it was my RC gaskets. Now I'm done for the day now, but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and how hard this is to rectify? Thanks.
