rear wiper removal

removed rear wiper and preparing to smooth. just wondering which is best. fibreglass filling the hole or havin a plate welded.

    Have a plate welded. Once the wiper motor is removed there is a lot of flex between the twin tailgate kins, this amount of flex...together with the size of the hole puts a lot of strain on fibreglass filling.
