Fitted this yesterday after carefully spending 3 days painting it black. I think it looks quite good on the dashboard now rather than a huge silver box :smash: Would like to thank Graham S for all his help cutting dashboards, wiring and modifying the bracket so you can angle the monitor towards the driver. Top Job mate  What do you guys think?

right fellas this is my problem. the car idles at about 2000rpm constantly now. checked the tps voltage and it was fine so i went to adjust the base idle. when i removed the yellow plug the car idled perfectly (about 600rpm) and when i reconnected the yellow plug the idle went back up to 2000rpm. has the idle valve gone? or is this some other problem? also could i leave the yellow plug off until i get it sorted? cheers alex

Hey up people, My name is Tim. I'm 20 years old and from Oxford. I am a sales executive for a mobile phone acessorys company (if anyone needs a good deal on a car kit or any other acessorys, hit me up) aswell as being a fully qualified mechanic. I currently drive a Citroen C5 Estate (for work purpoises! Its like a dolphin) having previously owned a pretty hot Clio 1.8 16v. It has come to the point in my motoring life that I can now afford to buy, run AND insure a 300zx tt. Providing the C5 goes! I'm a bit of a nut according to my mates, so don't boo me off the site. I'm also light hearted and up for a laugh and I don't take things to seriously. Unless its polyst…

Need to get my hubs off and one of the driveshafts is stuck - proper stuck. The manual says 'a few light taps with a hammer to loosen off the splines or resort to a puller'. Well I moved from light taps to carefully directed thuds with a sledgehammer and have now bent a 2 jaw puller as well. The splines are clearly rusted on, although the other side which had just the merest dust of surface rust came off easily. Any ideas ? Current plan of last resort is to try and remove the hub & driveshaft in one piece and either see if they can be separated then or buy new ones from a breaker ...

Think I may have sorted my car. Had timing checked and it was 7deg. Loosened cas and moved it a little and garage rechecked it and told me that its now set to 16deg and thats the best I'll get. Leaving it at 16 - will cause me any probs? Power seems a lot more now :)
