I just bought my 3erd Z and its #30 off the line for the 90 production my vin ends in 00030 its a black 2+2 auto I’m goanna do a tt 5sp swap :smash:

Spotted first on Trent Service station, Bucknall and then again later at Festival Park, Etruria. Never seen this car before in Stoke... Sounded like an auto...

Does anyone know of anywhere that can provide code matched paint in rattle cans for the Zed colours?? Would Nissan be able to supply them?

At long last after finding the worlds best example of a ZX i have got an arivel date. I found and ordered my car on the 18th of jan,and have been driven mad ever since not knowing how long a had to go befor its arivel.Nobody told me Japan was the other side of the world. Severel of my freinds have said they will kill me if i even hint at having a new car one more time,is this normal? I may have pointed out i have a new car once or twice or maybe a lot actualy but i think they may be over reacting.So all i have to do now is live untill the 30th of next month and life should take a turn to the fast!!.

Has anyone fitted them without thinking I wish I never bothered :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: I'm so fed up with trying this and that that I can only see the funny side!! I also can't beleive that none of the major seat brands, such as Cobra, OMP, Corbeau, Sparco do anything for the 300ZX :mad: , yet they do the subframes for the 200SX!! The only light at the end of the tunnel is that the Cobra Misano's look absolutely stunning in the car, although in hindsight I may have gone for a re-trim and be done with it lol

After 7 months of the Z being in my possession, a new engine and various other jobs to restore her she's off for the dreaded MOT on Friday :rolleyes: From the information off the previous owner she has been off the road over 12 months so god knows how it will go, fingers crossed :bow:

Bumped into an old mate of mine today and got talking about traffic wardens etc, dont know why!! He told me that thye cant clamp the rear wheels, or wheels that have been turned into the curb?? Is this true? He also says they cant tow a car (with the lifting truck thingy) if two wheels are on the curb? Are these urban legends?

to day i was bored a desided to fit my defi gauges that were just sittin about off the 200sx. took the standard tape player out ( what a twat...) the screws might aswell have been welded in took the tray out aswell and got to work with a dremil....2 hours later i was stuck togeter with black plastic shavens it's all together now and im quite happy with it. I followed my car tonight being driven by my fairlady ;) ... and i noticed that my exhaust pipes look a bit like this... what can i do about this as they are kinda fixed in that position by the decat/exhaust mounting position... any recommendations of where i can take it to be 'aligned' as it looks silly! cheerZ

Currently have a Momo Race in mine. I really like it. But fancy a change. Always liked the 'Daytona' 4 spoke. I think it looks a little more luxurious and since I'm retrimming my interior at the mo, I thought it might be a nice addition. Still not entirely sure, but something I am thinking about. Anyone got this wheel? 365mm is the one I'm looking at which is the smaller size I think, same size as my 'Race' which is perfect. My interior...although only half of it is in the car at the moment. lol

Can anyone please give me any ideas why my car is only blowing cold air and no heat? the head gasket has not gone and the car is running normal temp. Think the thermostat is working ok. But do have another one to replace it. Thanks gazzer

Hello Zeddrivers, I want to paint the black plastic inside the headlights in carcolour. Does anyone know the best version to "put the headlights in it´s single parts"? (don´t know the optimal words :wack: ) Someone told me, I get the glued parts opened with a heater (maybe the oven at 50 degrees celsius), but I don´t want do destroy anything. I don´t have any idea how the HL look inside (the mechanic parts) Can you help me? Thanks a lot, Patrick

hello again, does anybody know anything about these and how to make them work better, the original ones i had wrer very weak and struggling to hold the lid open so i replaced them with some from a scrap yard, these turned out to be worse and now it will not stay open at all, can they be fixed/made stronger as i have bought 2 sets of these now and they are both rubbish, the boot lid is standard with standard spoiler. cheers :(

I was driving no more thaN 2O MPH at bout 1pm today when a girl reversed out of a parking space causing me to spank the rear right of her bumper. i quickly ran after some young bloke who seen it and asked him to be a witness i took his number. when i got back to the scene she was shouting f'ing and blinding, she wasnt happy. she said why wearnt you looking where you were going couldnt you see i was pulling out??? hey just to say i have cured this got a solid drive shaft from Z1 in the states for €273.00 euro including fedex cam in 3 days great service and fittes perfect would recomend.

Just out of interest, whats the definitions of a stage 1 tuned car etc ?? I've read other threads but they tend to differ, For instance i have HKS air filter Stainless Cat Back (and will fit after MOT this weekend) Chiped ECU EBC running 1 bar Would that make the car a stage 1 yet ??

Hi can anyone help, I have just bought my first Zed and the autobox appears to have a problem. when I put it into D when cold there is no drive and the engine revs upto around 1500/2000 rpm and when the revs drop off the car will creep forward. but as soon as it wants to change up to 2nd it just looses the drive. When the car is warm there is no drive at all. Is it electrical or is it internal gearbox. Any help will be welcomed Cheers Rod PS I did no there was a fault when I bought it
