hi, my cousin has just given me a chip for my 93 TT auto ,He bought it for his but found it was already done by veilside, i didnt wanna fit it without knowing abit about them 1st so has anyone heard of Innovative autosports before?

my back end isjumping about and i have play in the rear wheels, if grabbed at 9 and 3 oclock (whilst jacked up) there is about 20mil of play, ive done a search and it could be the hicas arms, i thought it would of been the bushes that look like track rod ends, has anyone got any pics or info on what i need to do i thought it was just the bushes but after searching about im not so sure my car at the moment feels like it is floating around the road it actually feels dangerous

right next job is to fit these. anyone had a go at these on here? do the old need pressing out? whats involved guys :)

Hey all Popped into the garage today to see how it was going and had a chat with the guy whos stripped the engine down and is re-building it. Whole story of the blow up was because the previous owner had put new wisecos in but forgot to put the clips back on the pins so one came away from the rod and lunched the block. Today though I found out that the tubs had not been connected to any boost control so were just going ballistic every time. The engine has been put back together with the wrong screws etc etc etc!!! Be careful when purchasing these cars they end up in the hands of some serious monkeys cos theyre so cheap and end up like mine! Cheer…

Hi peeps, My z has aquired a problem...Every so often when in third and flooring it the car will lose all power. Almost like stamping on the breaks? It also stalled at a juction shortely after aswell? im running just under 1 bar, Andy p chip, blitz ind, os giken triple plate clutch, De-cats, 5zigen back boxes. Timing is at 15 degrees And NO det. HEEEELP! :headvswal

Red, standard spoiler, tinted rear windows, heading south on the A3M at 17:15 today just past Waterlooville. I was heading north in mine.

Think it may be one thats smashed up as it was on transported with other smashed up cars. High rear spoiler. Was in avonmouth Bristol.

strange 1 this after checking everything cleaning sensor i still had a running problem , and now ive found it timing was out and as soon as i undone the bolts hold the cas in place it was sweet as a nut soon as i done them up problem started again , please please anyone have any idea's on whats wrong or how to solve it , i'll be forever in there det :(

Just had a little convo in the kitchen...... him - I saw one of your cars today..... it was yellow with round rear lights and where you have your 300zx - his 300zx was like cut (stencil type) and he had some type of kit on it. me -oh right where was this? him - hedge end - going towards the M27 on the way to Pompy topic swiftly moved onto skylines Anyone off here? I'm intrigued to see the 300zx bit thats cut out? :)

When the car is jacked up the wheels turn full lock both ways with no noise until you get to max lock then there is a creaking type noise. When the car is on the ground the creaking noise is there the moment you turn the wheel, its's like if there is any resistance it makes a noise. I have bleed the system but it made no difference. Any ideas?

Hello, i can't seem to find any water leaks, yet my radiator level is down each time i look - it looks empty when peering in the top. I also notice what looks a bit like foam on the top of it. Is this just a result of the water flowing, or is it something else. I'm kinda sure, that i can see a slight rainbow oil film on them. The liquid is still nice and green from the antifreeze/antirust solution. The engine has done about 16000 miles. Anyideas? Performance does not feel to be down, and when comparing conzult data from about 9 months ago the readings are similar. Cheers.

Hi people Can anyone tell me where i can buy a set of decat pipes to fit a UK spec series 2. I brought a set off Chris Nolan :xxx: a couple of years ago. but they have never fitted properly. Typical crap quality off a crook. My only other option is to cut them up and fit flexible pipe in between. but would prefer to buy a set that fit well? Thanks for any input. Regards Kev.

Hi all im a bit confused just looked at my Ecu so i could do the test i have a red led i can see on the side but not screw/switch to put it in to the right mode? is there another way to do the test to see if there are any fault codes, im abit stumped now , Thanks in advance , wayne

Saw a black zed on someones driveway coming in to work this morning in Shrewsbury, not seen it before. Had the later spoiler (94-98 or something like that) and I think it had a vented nose panel, couldn't see much else.

Hi there, I think that I've got a problem with my starter motor as just getting clicking noise when trying to turn it over. Checked battery at first but its not that. Now in the past with other cars, I've just given the starter motor a tap with a hammer and then all is well, but on the Z I have no idea where it is let alone whether I can get to it at all. Where is it, can I get to hit it and if needs replacing, are they expensive and much labour to fit? Cheers

Hi Guys was just wondering if anyone has a spare zx tyre for the rear lying around, need to get my wheel off and i dont have a spare anyone in or around the london area who can spare me one for about two weeks or so, its so i dont need to have my car on a jack for the whole period Any help would be appreciated Fas

The new gearbox is in, Madmarco spent all day Saturday AGAIN!! :bow: under the car with me and we got the gearbox in,, was a nightmare!!!! Spent yesterday putting all the bolts in, conecting up the oil lines, wiring loom and gear stick etc. Just need to put the propshaft back in, fill it with oil and fit the exhausts back on and i can test it :dance: .........I hope to god that it all works as i really don't want to do this job again!!! :( So next sat it should be running and ready for an MOT!!!! Its only done 3000 miles since tha last MOT so should be fine!!

Temp guage said -5 degrees C in Nottingham this morning, and the Zed did not like the cold start at all! Got her started easy enough with a bit of gas, but wouldn’t start without some throttle., second time she fired up straight away! Is this normal in extreme conditions or is it a sign of worse things to come!
