So with wise old Ken upping the congestion charge to £25/day for high emission vehicles, it made me wonder what the Zed's stats were in relation to CO2 emissions - anyone know? It's obvious they would be high enough to be subject to the higher C-charges but I can't seem to find exact figs as mine wasn't checked during MOT (due to age of car I believe??)....

Think i'm getting a good deal but just wanted to make sure. £42.50 a wheel and for that they will remove the old tyre, repair the alloy mainly curb damage, powder coat it and refit the tyre or incase fit a new tyre. That's the quote before actually seeing them as they have like a big bolt on the which holds a cover over the wheel nuts which is a different colour to the alloy and has a plastic logo inside which needs cleaning also.

Not going in to loads of detail, But i took my car to Z-tech about 3half years ago for an uprated engine fitting, which had to go back to be re-done due to massive oil useage :( which it stood again since Feb of last year till just after Chris took over the company. Chris honoured the the work and has re-built my engine for me and took it in for MOT which it failed  main thing is the brake pipes need replacing plus a couple of small jobs too. i just feel like putting the fooking thing through a crushed I tell ya, As i know this isn't a small or cheap job to do. Also found out that my gear box is on it's way out, which is a new one that i was told i needed by…

why is it when i blip the throttle at idle it first goes slighty lower in revs then up the revs like a slight hesitation? really annoying. im sure this has something to do with my dodgy idle at cold starts.

my zed doesnt like to accelerate above 3500 rpm when cold, it will actually do it, but coughs and splutters and seems to be chocking up, it gets a bit better when warm but then sometimes when im sitting in traffic the revs slowy start to creep up to 2000 rpm, a quick blip of the throttle usualy sorts it out there is a time when the engine is warming that the car runs perfect, it pulls like a train doesnt miss, doesnt backfire and feels correct ive also noticed that if i drive home from work, it doesnt run correcttly for most of the way home, but if i switch off and leave it for a bit (maybe an hour) it runs much better if i g back out in it, im assuming that i m…

Where's the best place to get one of these plastic clips that fit behind the barrel of the drivers door lock. I imagine its quite a common problem as the one on my spare doors was broken also. I take it they are only worth pennies but does MJP do them or would it be Nissan?

Well ater my car was collected from SWZ, due to them making it worse than before it went in and before work was carried out to rectify by Zedworld, the old thing had a MOT to check what was wrong and failed on 48 points. Wow never knew you could have that many failure points lol. There are also about 10 other things that need to be rectified.

Hi guys I will be taking the Z for a trip to the famous Nurburgring end of march so i gotta do a dam good service on it so i thought a nice new set of shiny spark plugs wouldnt go a miss but im not sure which flavour to go for. HKS seem the most expensive but i do know that price dosnt nesecerely mean they are the best and you tend to pay more for the name so any advice on this subject would be greatly appeciated and supplier and price would be good too!! Cheers guys, Sharky
