Why did my energy steering rack bushing kit come with 3 bits? The thick bushings came for both sides of the rack then there is a bush that is the same shape as the circular one but thinner?

After a couple of days the old auto box is off :dance: Turned out to be a right pig and also turns out you can't get it off without removing the cats!!!! We were reluctant to touch the cat's but after 15 years the rusty studs came right out and none snapped!!! Does any1 know if the lens part of the UK spec blanks are just as the transparent as purpose made smoked jdm side indicator or are they to dark and let too little light through? cheerZ

just bought an ecu to see if it would sort out my running on issue but when i connected it up the car started fine but when i revved it up it hit 3000 rpm and started to misfire when i looked on the new ecu its got a " 23 " number on it and my old one has a " 20 " is the new ecu from a tt zed or is it just fooked any help appreciated

Just trying to get my head around why my V6 is sometimes a V5 or even worse, a V4. :headvswal I've been told that the fuel injector on cylinder 4 does not work. I've checked to see if it 'clicks' using the long screw driver method and I can agree that it does not click. So, if that is the case, if I pulled the coil pack connector the engine note should not change at all. Am I correct in saying this? Also cylinder 1 is playing up, nothing wrong with the coil pack and the fuel injector clicks using the screw driver method. How ever if I pull the connector off of that, the engine note does not change at all. So, can I assume there's a break in my en…

Hi has anyone done a how to? on fitting a tub on a z32 tailgate. Ive been told the rear screen comes out and the fiberglass just fits in! Life is never that simple!! I have seen some of the rides on here with them and i really like them hope someone can help :)

hi all, ive had my zed for 8 months now and when i bought it i had it in a garage to cure an oil leek. after lots of money he said its also leaking from the coupling on the block on the drivers side next to the turbo ,i think its the turbo feed but the previous owner siliconed it to stop it leaking . just took it of well it fell off and the threads on it are gone but it looks like the turbo is in the way when you turn it to fit it , is there any other way to fit it.. new one on order

well the inevitable has happened and my bottom and has started rattling its cockrell off, I cant afford a rebuild at the minute as I bought a house last year and its needing so much work I'm still not in it (it will all be worth it in the end she says :rolleyes: ) so can only really afford a second hand engine and would rather pay somebody to fit it so everythings warranted incase it goes tits up, the best I've found so far is zedworld at £1500+vat including an engine thats been fully checked,new belt,water pump etc. does anybody know anywhere that could beat this? the car is still driveable so dont mind rattling down the country :headvswal

hi 300 gurus, i have a couple of probs: 1. first thing in the morning i start my car no probs,but then it sits idliing at about 1500,then as soon as i put it into gear it cuts out on me,sometimes it does this a couple of time then its fine,or if i leave it for a wee while ticking over, it does not cut out,but not all the time. 2. it can be driven for a wee while and the engine is nice and warm,il pull up to say a set of trafic lights put it in nutral and the revs may shoot up to about 1500-1700 but this does not happen all the time. 3. does anyone no where my diagnostic plug is on a 1992 fairlady,as i cant find it,and its not any where on the drivers side…

Does any one have the length a wheel stud, from the hub to the end of the wheel stud ? Can you run 5mm wheel spacers without fitting longer studs cheers

was driving home after visiting a friends and was about 2 minutes away from home when i heard a pop and my car came out of control. car slided to the left followed by the right. tried to shove car into neutral as i have an auto and this helped braking a bit more but too late............. hit a post and bent fender in. crawled home as i was close and inspected car thoroughly. important internals seem to be unaffected/crushed. intercoolers looked fine and car was still running like a dream. Really upset and even tho i have will get a new fender the bit under the fender i.e the wheel arch will need to be banged out or replaced. can anyone suggest or give me some advice on…

Hi All, Just put the engine back in after replacing/removing as much as I could be bothered and could afford to. Stock boost solenoids have been redundant for some time due to an AVC-R. Am I correct in thinking that I can connect the wategates directly to the low pressure ic pipes and cap off the nipple on the turbo intake hard pipes that the teed solenoid connection usually connects to...? Thanks in advance for any help. RobH

Any Zeder got upgrade bits for a nice SWB , manual, 1993 Jap import. The brakes are crap to say the least. would any one advise bigger grooved discs pads etc or any advice is gratefully received Paul W :xxx: :xxx:
