Where can I purchase the rebuild kits fr the zed turbo's, I emailed Melett, but all they did was advise against doing it.

Ok as mentioned before the gearbox drone is the same as it was and it deffinately the auto-box. Just had to use it to goto Citizens Advice Bureau (which was not open) to see what actions i can take against this man who sold me the car. Personally I dont think its a real MOT paper it has now as was only issued like 500miles ago and so much is appearing wrong now..... Whats the best stuff to put on the oil stains on me drive way. since the zed is having its leak fixed nows the best time to soak it up with something. something household would suit, dont fancy buying anything really, im not that keen.

Just catching up on checking out what new cars are available after seeing a Volvo C30, looked quite nice!! The specs are good, 0-60 in 6.2 secs. Does anyone else think that the world has gone mad when a Volvo has better specs than a 300ZX TT (stock)!!!! I guess thats the price you pay when you own a 15 year old car! Not to worry. I'll get my coat!

Started the car for the first time today, since Zedfest last September. Had to pop to the local Tyrespot for a replacement battery. Noticed that the idle is very high (1100-1200) and it's running as rich as fook.......stinks of petrol. Any ideas on a quick fix...or could it be one of a thousand things? LOL Is it because she hasn't been used for 6 months and maybe needs a good run out?

What the hell were Nissan thinking? Why would you add around 2kg of weight to the boot? I should be able to knock half a second off my 0-60 now! :rofl: :rofl:

I'd like to get a sports clutch and lightened flywheel for my Z. Looking around there are various types at very differing prices. I'm on a real budget with the turbo work etc etc, so if anyone has any ideas on the cheapest place to buy a set or even if they have a set to sell I would be very interested.

Looks like I'm gonna need new turbo's, thanks to everyone for your help and advice. I'm looking to buy a decent boost controller for when I fit the new turbo's. Can anyone recommend one, or have you got one for sale I don't want to spend silly money on one as the tubs are gonna be costing me enough been looking on ebay and there are a few for sale. Some however don't say they can go on a 300zx but when I look at other sites that sell them they look like the exact same product. What would be a good product to go for? :confused: Would this one do? Ebay item boost controller Or this one? Boost controller I don't want to spend more than £200 max…

What is the best choice of plugs for a ZX TT with: Induction kit Std exhaust system - non-decat Chipped ECU I normally use the BK iridiums, but just thought i'd check what most people use... Thx Lee

Before i go and spend £600 with Nissan on targa rubbers and door rubbers, does anyone have any really good rubber seals available for the targas, door rubbers with the clips. Cheers Graham

Look at what I found over the weekend. The aluminium connectioned to the oil cooler have corroded and cracked! Good job I spotted this before the track day!

please can anyone help latley car has been revving to hi so when putting into drive car is stalling when pulling away. i have to keep foot on brake pedal to lower revs before pulling away. :headvswal

Hellohah chappies and chappesses... I am looking to replace my smokey tubs but do not want the gamble of re-con units... i would like some advice from peoples experiences for what to go for... I dont want silly power, though my internals are forged. I dont want anything that requires special manifolds as i already have divorced downpipes and de-cats... i currently only have the standard injectors fitted but will be upgrading to 555's in the not too distant future. So basically, in reflection, i want to run a reliable 14ish psi without overstressing the tubs with the potential for a couple more as and when more fuel flow/cooling/braking etc becomes available…

Sunday about 4pm I was at the traffic lights on Earls Court Road when I spotted a black Zed heading West towards the M4 . Round rear lights . Never had a response to any of my previous posts in " Was It You " , so won`t hold my breath :D

Hi all My car has been off road over winter while I upgrade suspension etc. I have been stating it up about once a month letting it warm up fully by driving it. Have not been boosting it much if at all. I also need to replace the coil pack connectors as the clips are shot and its not making a connection (intermittent misfire). Anyway I used datascan to pin point which cylinder was not firing and it was cylinder 1. Fiddled about with coil pack connector then all ok. Ran an ecu diag and came up code 34 det sensor!!!! Started 4 times with this code. What could have caused this? Been stood for a while? I am a bit worried. Took the car out for a drive, felt…
