About to order up some gauges (oil pressure, water temp, and boost). Reading back through the forum I understand I need one of these Gizmos I was just wondering - is there enough space around there oil filter area? I.e. when the pressure sender is screwed into this adaptor has it got room. The pics of the senders i`ve seen look quite large. cheers jay

A bit of a technical question for anyone who knows the answer for sure! What are the symptoms (and NO, I'm not talking about the yellow skinned family from Springfield!!! ;) ) if the ECU Water Temp Sender fails? As in, it is telling the ECU that the water is permanently COLD! And how could this be tested? Thanks in advance! Dave

Can someone tell me how much faberic they used to retrim their door cards and lower pannels. I'm thinking 2m should be enough as the fabric I'm getting is 60" wide. I'm also covering the seat bit of my new seats.

Hi all can anyone tell me what series Uk clocks these are? Also as the plugs at the rear are different does this mean that i will have to swap all the dials as stated in bigman's earlier post. I still have the shell to my old uk Z and all the wiring so is it possible to swap the wiring loom over or is that just asking for trouble :headvswal I also found a de-limiter already fitted, can i just leave that in place or do i have to take it out when fitting the uk clocks as it will nock the calibration out or should i just forget about the UK clocks and put everything back :mac1: Oh and thanks in advance lol.

Hi, I've just bought my first Z from stenorth (everything going smootly so far Ste. Lower gaiter had come off gearstick and so was a bit noisy in 2nd but that's all back on now and working well ;). The car has the stock Nissan 16" BBS alloys and i'm planning on putting a couple of new tyres on the rear. The tyres on there at the moment are 225/50/16' same as the fronts. I've read in some websites that the rears sometimes take 245/45/16's on the twin turbos. Should i consider a slightly bigger tyre on the rears or just keep everything standard? Cheers Dave

Well my car is currently being resprayed to a colour called "Atlantis blue"....which is a sort of two tone green/blue colour from TVR. Just had a call from the painters who have asked for another 3 litres of paint onto of the 4 that I've already given them. Seems strange considering the shop I bought it from stated 4 litres would leave paint to spare. I recon they've spilled the original 4 litres at some point.

Got a crack in the winscreen from a stone hit at the weekend. Will be an insurance job but how long will it take them to get a screen? Typically the MOT is due as well. Darrell

Big thank you to Giant Slayer (AKA Tom) for meeting me and letting me borrow his EBC for a little while this evening.   Big thanks to Silverbullet (AKA Mark) for helping confirm a few things over the phone. Don't know what I would do without you Mark! Also, big thanks to the random guy who turned up in a wide ass zed and provided the metre of tubing and a tee-peice that allowed me to actually borrow Tom's EBC. What a stroke of luck! Anyway, turns out my overboosting issues were all down to the EBC unit itself. Sod's law dictates that it was always going to be the last thing I checked! Thanks again to everyone who has hel…

I come of off the M6 onto the A50 to head south towards the M1 at about 15.30 today. As i stopped at the first island to turn right a Z came round the island, guess it was a TT buy the noise it made. I havn't seen one on the road for so long and it looked bloody luvley. It was in a gun metal grey and sat on what looked like 19' rubber, spent the rest of the ride back to the yard with a smile on my face and that wonderfull deep exhaust note playing in my head.

Last week I contacted a company called JPS pff ebay as they had some Skyline coilpacks for sale, anyway I managed to order a Bride seat rail for another car and a set of splitfire coilpacks for the ZX.. (saved on shipping this way)... anyhow they worked out at only £220 delivered. I'm not sure if I will get stung by customs but the price seems very very good!! Delivery time is only 5 days so I should have them anyday now... After fitting some Splitfire's to a Skyline I was so surprised at the difference which is why I want a set for my blue ZX... will report back on how good they are soon ;)
