Just got around to changing my spark plugs, they were black in colour like burnt. I know since I have had the car it is over fuelling and is smells when first started of petrol quite bad. :o The question I have is would it be the APEXI AFC II, that is setup incorrect that is making the car over fuel. As I have checked all the regular connections to make sure it not them. Thanks.

Hi gang, I get a bit of gearbox whine (manual) only when the weather is relly cold say only 4 degrees or below for around 2 minutes of driving. The noise is there from after around 30 - 40 seconds of driving and changes pitch when a different gear is selected i.e. low pitched when in 1st or 2nd, then a bit higher in 3rd, higher again in 4th and then again in 5th. It then changes if I go down the box also. It does it with the clutch fully depressed and randomly selecting gears changes the pitch. Only lasts for a max of 2 minutes then nothing. Any ideas what it could be and how cheap (LMFAO) expensive it's gonna be to fix ? CheerZ Paul

well apart from the odd coil here and there needing replaced, brake calipers, Hicas removed, Oil cooler rad fins bent, sump dented (previous owner grounded possibly), Centre propshaft doughnt broken ? (sussed the vibration from gear box). nothing sort of big big priced until........(advised) both rear inner sill's corroded. Big oil leak (possible rear main oil seal). now the guy has said the rear oil seal is approx 16hours labour and also said he reckons the sills been done once already so its pointless doing it again. I'm so stuck right at this moment what ya think? :headvswal

LUVERLY.... She's completely naked...wings, boot, spoiler, doors, targa...all off and most have been sprayed, Halcyon Atlantis (google it for a look at the colour). In fact she's so naked I started nursing a semi ;) Even my son (who's car it is) was gurling away...but that may have been the telly tubby he was playing with.... They've advised that it will be ready either the end of this week or early next week. I'll get some photo's up if someone can explain to me how.

Hi, can anyone tell me if this is a UK or Jap ecu, it was taken from a Jap z which was fitted with UK clocks.I have fitted the clocks into my Jap z and the speedo is only reading 40mph when the car is doing 60mph at 2200 rpm, speed taken from tomtom, there was no box fitted to the back of the of either speedo but mine was calibrated in mph and fitted with a 180mph face, how many ways are there of calibrating the clocks to run in mph, would it be safe to put the ecu in my car, both are TT Auto. cheers Paul opps forgot the picture. It has 23710 46P65 A18-000 MD9 3325 on the label.

Any ideas of the best specialist that is near to Cardiff? Does Old Zed's son do Z's apart from engine builds? Can't cure the misfire between 1000-2500 revs and keep getting random results with the Conzult power balance test :headvswal

Received my new wheel and installed it today. Think it's a perfect match for my interior and it feels sooo nice. Only problem is the small gap around the boss where it goes into the cowel. I have looked at many pics in the rides section but cant tell exactly how other people have shielded this area or if they just used a different brand of boss.
