Getting dreaded blue smoke and there is oil in my passenger side intercooler pipe, not just a little bit but alot in there. Now i changed all the pcv hoses and cleaned the pcv valves which seem to open and close when i blow through them so they seem fine for a while. when i replaced the pcv hoses i also replaced the ristriction spacers in each hose apart from the front passenger side hose as there wasnt one in there to begin with, but i did find the end of a wire cleaner that someone must hav snapped in there without realising, duhhhh to whoever did that. could this be giving me smoke out the exhaust when i come off the throttle arfter a couple seconds of b…

As the title says, my hicas light stays on and have never had any dealings with this part of the car. Give us your opinion! cheers

This may be helpfull to some and not others, but hey, i thought id do it anyway. Im normally a "wonder wheels" faithfull but i thought id try something new on my wheels. I'm pretty fond of the whole Meguair's range so i thought id give their "Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner" a crack. Firstly, i know my wheels dont appear that dirty. But all the brake dust and grime you can see on the wheel is well and truely ground in and not something that would come off with a wipe with a sponge (trust me i tried :headvswal ) Right, i started off with just giving the wheel a good rinse with the hose to get rid of any of the loose debris that was sitting on the surface of the …

hi guys i now have a fuel smell around engine bay and n/s/f wing sinse i removed emmision stuff under n/s wing i.e charcoal canister etc, when i carried out the mod as per forum info it said to route fuel tank breather hose to front subrame where hose from canister normally is! has any one got any ideas of how to cure this or has any one else got this same problem?? regards steven :confused:

Right my n/a manual wont turn off you can start it fine but when you go to turn it off it wont unless you take the egi relay out then you can turn it off and also if you leave the relay out you can still start it any ideas welcome as i dont have any and wot does this relay do?? :confused: cheers chris

Bought some Venom injectors of Ebay. (I know... :smw: ) I have delivered them for testing. There was no documentation with the injectors i got...The company that are testing them need to know how much they are supposed to delivery under a set pressure in order to see if they deliver what they are supposed too... Hope this makes sense to someone. not the best explenation i guess...

Been having a crap time at home and work due to me getting divorced and having made my spouse a major shareholder and director of the company many years back. So I gave Spare parts a run out today and pull in the the petrol station to fill up with V-power and did just that. only to realise 4ft from the pump that i'd actually put £59.52 of V-power diesel in it. :headvswal :headvswal Spent rest of day getting recovered and draining and flushing it out. What amazed me was how fast it went from tank to engine. Due to the fact that it is a presurised fuel rail on a continuas loop. 4 feet is litterally how far I got. Fingers crossed hat no lasting harm is done.

Can anyone help? The little black box on the drivers side of the engine bay near the bulk head, is that the boost sensor? if it is, what does it do? The reason i ask, im sure ive read that if you have a EBC then this box can be removed? Is that true? Thanks Ant

While i was fitting the clutch pedal for my manual conversion i had to move a black electical box about 6" x 4" plugs all down 1 side, out of the way to get the pedal in, there was no other way to get it in, it is part number (27512-41P00) doea anyone have a clue what it's for? My car has a strange noise coming from the front end. I noticed it as this week i've been driving down roads with speed bumps, it sounds almost like the front of the car is scraping on the speed bump, but its not?? It only happens when the cars cold, so for the first 5-10 mins??? Bizzare !!
