1 advisory - Slightly rusty backboxes. Not surprising as they are the originals, 12.5 years old lol. MOT bloke wants to pay me to fabricate a screen into his Scoob dash too. Well chuffed.

Okies Right a different Question here!! Will be entering a 'Rally' which is 1500-2000miles from London to Croatia at the end of the summer! Now normal tank of good ol V power around 60quid ish and will get me 350miles tops! So i was thinking or perhaps a 2nd Fuel tank to place in the boot (Only 2 of us so Bags in back seats and stuff!) Just thinking would an additional Fuel tank be an easy thing to do or would i be best just filling up the tank to the brim??? If anyone has a brief explaination as to what would be done i would be grateful! just a thought after watching the Cannonball 8000! Not going to get a Fighter Jet Fuel Pump like some guy on there :P M…

Hey all I have invested in a bigger rad Howe TT and cooling fan kit. Is it worth getting a vented bonnet also or would this not make much difference? Dont want to spoil the smooth lines if I dont have to. But I will do if it keeps the heat away from my new engine. Cheers

A friend of mine on the Lancer Register recently took part in a performance driver track day at the Millbrook Proving Ground. I was wondering if anyone from the forum would have any interest in doing this ? The basic details are as follows: The day is a fast moving experience for 8 owners and their cars to introduce the secrets of performance driving. It is designed to be informative, exciting and fun. The group size is purposefully kept small so that the maximum can be obtained from the day in a highly personalised environment. There is access to the 5 unique circuits at the renowned Millbrook Proving Ground, a venue that is not normally accessible for ‘trac…

Once i had fitted the front diff bushing which were a piece off piss, (see pic) i moved onto the rear press fitted bushings... Now these were a bugger. So heres how i replaced them with the subframe still attached. After a few wacks with a hammer a couple dry atempts to push them in it was obvious these were not going in without a fight. So i tried a number of things that were clearly not gunna work. But soon enough just like one of those old cartoons where a light bulb appears ontop of the characters head, an idea sprung to mind. first i greased the inside of the subframe where the bush sits once pressed in (this helps with the pressing) O…

As above, went outside to fit my new blingy bits to find this strange marking all over my paintwork  As you might have known had my spoiler fitted and collected the z yesterday. It was raining and the car was wet so never really took much notice. Came home parked the car up and left it until today. Its like the car has been wiped with a cloth and left a water type drip mark all over bonnet, wings, doors and pretty much everywhere. Needless to say I took it straight to body shop but the boss wasnt there, had a chat with the guy who works there but he dont know what it is...it has eaten into laquer. Got to take it back in morning to show the sprayer. Just wanted …

Hi guys, Sent the car off for an MOT today and to be honnest, thought it would fly through but it never. Anyway there are afew little points that the car failed on such as the numberplate which SHOULD be within the legal requirements but obviously not :x: , Nearside and Offside headlamp aim too low but what concerns me the most is that it failed on the 'Nearside and Offside rear (to flexy) brake pipe Excessively corroded' ( Thats exactly word for word on the MOT Certificate ) Can anyone give me an idea of what sort of price are we talking about for the brake problem? Ive been quoted £500.. What do you think? Any ideas as this is really my main concern. Muc…

Just put my diff back in and there seems to be a little bit of play. I suppose thats where the funny knocking noise id coming from when ever on off throttle and changing gear... but is this normal? Has anyone else checked thiers recently? What can i do to fix it? I Believe that coz all my bushings are new and stiffer it amplifies the knock?? Heres the video: sorry for crap quality. Diffferential play

I need a service & was wondering if you guys knew any good places to get either the service kit or just get the whole job done for me (depending on the price I might just do it myself). Also I'm gonna need a new exhaust soon so if you guys can recommend a good system or vendor I'd be very grateful.

Hi gang. Right, pretty soon I'm gonna have a grand to spend on me Z. I really want to ditch the shit tweed and I'm liking the leather seat covers and trim kits that the Z Center do. However, they are £700 + VAT and that's quite a bit on top of the £700. I'm also after an EBC, preferably a Profec B II. Anyone know of anywhere cheaper for a FULL leather interior and any other suggestions for upgrades ? CheerZ Paul

I've got a series 2 passenger seat to fit when I've trimmed the front seats. Managed to get a bit of loom and seat connector from the drivers side from series 1 breaker at Zedworld. 1st question: Can I simply run a spur from the drivers side over to the passenger side? 2nd question: Are the connectors on the drivers' seat the same as the passenger seat? Thanks
