Hi all, Just went to see what chip was in my car it is surpose to be JD chipped. But on the outside of the ECU is say SWAT, only thing I can find out is its a jap tuning company but nothing more on searching the net. ECU Looks like this:

where is the best place to get the interior and seat trim kits? i know the z center but is there anywhere else? also how easy are they to fit? cheers

Hi, im thinking about upgrading my Z. Running 0,9 bar now. The mods I like to make will bring +450hp but less than 500. I already have a K&N dualintake at home, but now I read that it makes the car running "less smooth" and I think I don´t like that... Have already a K&N cone Filter mounted. Do I need a dualintake when running aroun 1,2 - 1,3 bar boost? Sorry, don´t know it in psi... Thanks, Patrick

I am shortly going to be setting up my new Profec B Spec II. I am fairly sure I know what I am doing and I have got my head round it all from speaking to many people and following these instructions. Click for instructions However, I thought I would have a quick browse through the archives looking at what settings people have been using and I got some strange results! Why is the set gain so high? This is supposed to be the starting boost level?!? :confused: Any ideas?

i am looking at getting a strut brace for my zed it is a 2+2 model twin turbo i have seen people with the struts in the back aswell as under ther bonnet and was wondering if the could be fitted as i have seats where a 2 seater model doesnt

Hi, Anybody know the location of the control unit for the electric HICAS system. I know on the hydraulic versions it's mounted near the ECU but on mine there's nothing next to the ECU. Any ideas? Dave

Im trying to send Z1 money through paypal and i keep getting the same message. This transaction failed because we were unable to verify this credit card through our card validation process. But i have used my paypal loads of times in the last month and ive just checked my account and the money is fine..... This is so frustrating, z1 just gave me a really good deal too.

As any one fitted a pair of lower adjustable link arms to there 300 and if so did you take any pics as im trying to fit a set and I think I might have been supplied the wrong parts ??

im probably opening a can of worms here, but i just wondering if anyone has used them?, im using them at the moment and i know a few others that are , the main person i no has been using them for over 5 years has done lots of drag races on different boost settings and NEVER! had any problems with them at all, we no they need to be changed more regular than the originals but for the price of them you can change them a fare few times before you reach the cost of the oem plugs, ive not posted this to cause any arguments just wanted to no peoples thought or if you've tried them :) cheers wayne

;) Just a quck question. As you know i have just got my car back from DTA and all is fine except the reading on my air con. The Amb temp is showing 26-30 all the time. Even when its raining, wind or even on start up. I know its never that temp. So where is the sensor for this and how can i test it?? Cheers

my engine(when cold it is worse) idles all over the place . some times its fine and others it can very from 1500 to 500 and even cut out . its automatic and is really frustratin! the vacuum on it from cold sits half way between 0 and -7. when warm it sits right next to the -7 any ideas chaps? :confused:

got my new EBC through the post today. Now I can get back up to safe boosting levels ready for Donington on the weekend. Also, removed over 10kgs of weight! Plus got the Brembos fitted this time, so should be a lot of fun! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

1. central locking is not working properly - locks from cobra alarm fob fine but wont unlock, drivers door wont unlock by key either(pain in the ass) so leaning over to let myself in everytime, motors???? how easy to get at if it is likely to be them? 2. steering column - can feel some side to side play in the steering column, sure it's something simple, but worries me what i might have to remove to get rid of the movement, any ideas??? BTW it's a '92 LWB TT Jap

Not bothered about anything fancy as i expect they all do the same thing so was going to get a refill from halfords. got to the till and it just so happened the guy in front was buying the same (it had just been raining) and was being charged £7.99 for a pack of refills (why they sell them in packs of 5-10 i dont know as that would take a couple of lifetimes to get through!). There is no way i am paying that for a couple of strips of rubber!!! where can i get a replacement blade without being bent over?
